Tipped $20 and got an upgrade from a beachfront room to a Diamond beachfront room. You can see the mountains directly from the room's balcony. Great value for money during the off-season.

This is the most beautiful resort on Waikiki Beach, and the kids' pool is absolutely fantastic. Shopping is also incredibly convenient. It's truly a perfect hotel.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Waikiki Beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants right outside, making dining and shopping very convenient. The ocean view is beautiful. However, when I checked in, I found some gray stains and a long hair on the bedsheets. I called and they changed the bedding, but this definitely deserves a negative review.

For a very large hotel to have only 3 check-in staff as well as 1 priority, people formed quite long queues - just unacceptable when much smaller hotels have as many staff. Do they think that many guests might have travelled longhaul to get there? Surely Sheraton can afford it?  The infinity pool sundeck is awful - sub beds literally jammed up against each other - ugh!  Very limited on site food facilities. Bed was comfortable  albeit rather too soft. Couldn’t spend much time on balcony given the very loud noise from neighbouring air conditioning fans. I particularly resent the constant handout for tipping for everything. Pay proper wages!! Definitely not returning- in fact already staying in a much nicer hotel near Kuhio Beach.

On the day of check-in, there was an empty yogurt cup left on the windowsill, and a few long hairs that hadn't been cleaned in the shower. The towels also had stains. We reported this to the hotel, but they didn't clean it promptly. On the fourth day, we even found a used steak knife in the air conditioning vent! I really can't understand if this was intentional or just pure negligence...

Breakfast was really lacking; there was hardly anything to eat. The lady at the pool towel station was incredibly rude, glaring and muttering things under her breath, which was quite unsettling. However, the hardware facilities were decent.

No kidding, I've stayed at this hotel before, about eight years ago, and I had such a great experience that I decided to book it again this time. The hotel's location is fantastic; turn left for the beach and right for the commercial street. I opted for a sea-view room, and sitting on the balcony enjoying the scenery truly gives you that vacation feeling!
