And why is the elevator so loud?! My room was directly facing the elevator, and I kept hearing its constant humming. The hotel didn't provide slippers, and if you needed water, you had to go to the first floor to exchange a water card for it."

"For our last two nights in Honolulu, we switched to Prince Waikiki because my daughter was scared of the pigeons constantly visiting our Hilton balcony. While this Japanese-style hotel doesn't have a resort vibe, it's quite comfortable, and the yacht club view from the window offers a different kind of scenery. On the first night, we found the hairdryer was broken, but thankfully, they were quick to respond. The hotel elevators are a bit slow, but parking is convenient at $1/hour on the street outside, which is much cheaper than the hotel's parking."

"Wow. What a nice place to stay. Firstly, the staff. As with any staff you have some who are more attentive and some who are more of a baseline attendant. There was one lady in particular who was quite helpful though and the baggage men were quite on the ball. The Location. The location is right where you want to be. In the mix, on the beach, I’m sure there are better options but for me, this was perfect. There was one pothole across the street that ended up being a bit of a killer to my ankle, rolled it real good, popped some bone right off. Hope that gets filled in. The cleanliness was prime the amenities were pretty much what you’d expect, they had a pool, an ice machine which I made great use of and valet, and other things I’m sure. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel."

The rooms are a bit small, but the front desk staff, especially the lady who checked us in, was super nice and gave us a high-floor room with a sea view. It's also incredibly convenient as you just walk a few steps downstairs to the commercial area."

"Let's start with the positives: The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning ocean view, and I woke up to the beautiful beach every morning 🥰. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful 🫶. The room was also very spacious; coming from Tokyo to Hawaii, I really appreciated the upgrade in space 😍. There are many bus routes right outside the hotel, making it easy to get to Pearl Harbor. The Pink Line of the 'Waikiki Trolley' also stops directly at the hotel entrance, which is great for going shopping at Ala Moana. Now for some areas for improvement: The room didn't have many amenities, and there was no free bottled water. It's a bit far from shopping and dining areas; getting to lively spots usually takes more than a 10-minute walk. However, if you love surfing 🏄♂️, this is a great choice as the beach is just a short walk away."

"They were very accommodating with luggage storage before check-in, a 12 PM check-out, and even luggage storage after check-out. While it's a bit far from the beach, there's a convenient W Line bus stop nearby that goes to the airport, and famous shops like Target, ABC Store, Marugame Udon, and Kona Coffee are all close by, which was very convenient."
