I only stayed one night because I had a reservation at the Hyatt for the next day, but the location was good and even though it's an old building, it was well-maintained and clean, which I appreciated. The biggest downside was the noise... People singing on the street until 3 AM, haha. There's a karaoke bar on the first floor of the hotel. I thought it would close by 2 AM since that's their operating hours, but... they kept enthusiastically singing Oasis songs from outside, haha. Anyway, I fell asleep after that, and aside from the noise, it was a comfortable stay~

This hotel was absolutely terrible. The room was incredibly small. We couldn't even place the two single beds side-by-side; one had to be horizontal and the other vertical. The room was only two meters wide. Being small is one thing, but the main issue was how noisy it was – we couldn't sleep at all. I had read reviews mentioning noise from downstairs, but I thought I wasn't particularly sensitive to sound, so I ignored them. Turns out, I couldn't sleep a wink. First, the soundproofing was awful; a door closing next door sounded like an earthquake. Second, there was a garbage dump downstairs, and the loud rumble of large trucks emptying trash was deafening. What's worse, the hotel windows couldn't be closed! To be precise, they don't have proper windows, only hollow glass louvers that can't seal. Don't they know how noisy it is? Why wouldn't they install regular windows? Furthermore, the hotel washes and dries its own towels in a washing machine, which made me seriously concerned about hygiene. I wanted to check out and switch hotels after the first night, but they wouldn't allow refunds or changes. I'm never budget traveling again in this lifetime! Although, at 1000 RMB a night, I didn't think it was cheap to begin with. The staff, however, were quite enthusiastic and there's nothing to complain about there. I stayed here during a layover on my way back home, just looking for a cheap hotel for two nights, but I never expected it to be this bad. Friends who are planning to visit, seriously avoid this place. My first trip to Hawaii was ruined.

I highly recommend this hotel. Considering the price, I was extremely satisfied with everything except the age of the building. I stayed here for several consecutive nights on a business trip, and the front desk staff were always friendly and welcoming. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they were very clean, and the housekeeping service—including bed-making and towel replacement—was impeccable. My stay was comfortable every single day. For this price, the location and level of hospitality were outstanding. I was genuinely impressed. There was complimentary coffee available at the front desk, and although the smoking area was nearby, there was absolutely no smell in the hotel. As a smoker, I really appreciated that. The room came with four soft pillows, and the shower worked perfectly fine. There were also plenty of souvenirs available, which made me wonder how they can offer all of this at such a reasonable price. Now for a little rant. I accidentally packed a jar of jam that the hotel staff had kindly given me in my carry-on luggage at the airport. A particularly unpleasant security officer confiscated it, saying that gel-like substances were not allowed. All I can do is hope that person didn’t end up helping themselves to it. The hotel was flawless. My only grievance is with the guy at the airport security checkpoint. I would absolutely love to stay here again on my next business trip.

I stayed here on a solo trip. The room size was perfectly fine for one person, and the large bed was a plus. The shower room was also spacious and good, though not being able to see outside from the window gave it a slightly confined feeling – which, from a safety perspective, is actually a good thing. However, since it's in a lively area, the music noise at night could bother some people who are light sleepers (though it didn't bother me at all). The lobby had a nice relaxed seating area where I could enjoy free coffee at my leisure. They also had a great selection of free rentals for the beach and excellent service, making it a pleasant hotel overall.

It was quite the experience. There is a karaoke bar downstairs, and that contributes to a lot of noise….
