The Standard, Hua Hin

The Hotel is beautiful with lovely well maintained grounds positioned on the sea front. It is certainly of a standard that is hard to beat. The staff have obviously been very well picked to provide a good friendly service throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and to a high standard with both western and Thai food and the restaurant was positioned by the pool on the sea front. There are several bars in the grounds and a fully furnished gym with dressing rooms, lockers and shower facilities. There are bungalows on the premises plus larger blocks with very well presented modern rooms with excellent showers and good quality wash products. There is also a nice balcony complete with 2 chairs and table. The beds are comfortable with good linen and the lovely thick towels were changed twice daily. Air conditioning was good also and for once there was no problem with the door keys which you find in some hotels. The lifts were quick which was good as we were on the 6th floor. The pool area has many comfortable sun loungers of different types and seats which are also on the grass plus positioned around the pool. The pool itself however was not as large as it first appeared to be. You need to enter the pool very carefully as there are no hand rails and the steps are slippy. Half of the pool is taken up by the steps so there is only half to actually swim in. There are 3 steps then a gap of 3 feet so you think you have reached the bottom but then more steps which are hard to see as the tiles are all blue. This is a fantastic Hotel however and we will certainly be returning.

I set 65rmb/night during the peak of the Songkran Festival, and 110rmb/night at the same time. Generally speaking, compared to the other, it is worth the fare. Address location: It is directly in the night market. When I leave, if I have to go back to Bangkok by my own mini bus, the fare is 200 baht, and I have to go to the station by myself. If the boss makes a phone call and gets on the bus directly at the gate of the Youth Hostel, it is only 180 baht. Hua Hin-Bangkok Mochi, I decisively chose the latter. Sleep experience: Sleeping is very comfortable, because the quilt is more thick, suitable for our Chinese, a few days ago, the opposite is his inn, there is a blanket thinner than the bath towel, cold in the middle of the night. This house will not be too cold. The surrounding feeling of the bed is stronger. Sleep is good. Disadvantages: There is no concealer curtain. Fortunately, I brought my own ultra-thin beach cloth in China, and I just picked it up to cover the shame. Birds can be heard outside the window. The air conditioner is very low. Washing experience: 4 bathrooms, 4 toilets, there are clothes rails in the bathroom, the distance is just not wet. Humanistic experience: The boss is fluent in Chinese ancestry and can speak English and Thai baht. The boss's father is very fluent in Chinese. His father came to Thailand from Guangdong Hakka in the past few generations. His mother is very beautiful, old and can see that it is the kind of beauty. The family is warm, smiling and kind. Plus points: someone on the roof meets for drinks and food. Food is bought at the night market or convenience store downstairs. The roof can dry clothes and there are hangers. There are biscuits, coffee, kitchen supplies in the public area for free. There are also books. It’s very good to take a taxi and buy food and drink. The place is relatively small, so the guests from all countries are very close, and they will basically say hello and chat socially. I met a German brother who traveled for four months and a graduate of the American Beauty University.

I liked it here, certainly a very comfortable residence in a nice location for shops and restaurants. Maybe about ten mins walk to the beach. First two nights I had the small single room which had a fan. It was perfect with the fan going and did not need a/c. Good value. Last night this room was booked so I used the dorm. This did have a/c and was also a good option. Showers are warm, everything clean. Owner is very pleasant plus the young Burmese girl also is very sweet and helpful. Can recommend wholeheartedly!

Beautiful hotel at very short walking distance from the lively Bintabaht area, restaurants and cafes. Service is excellent, particular mention goes to the hotel manager, who is always present and attentive, and remembers his guests preferences, and to the lady cleaning our rooms (205 & 206) - she would make a great customer-facing member of staff, with her great English, caring, kind and smiley attitude. Only downside of the place is that the beach in front of the hotel isn’t suitable for swimming in our view. We would definitely stay again.

We only stayed 2 nights. It’s very close to the night market area with cafes and restaurants to visit. The restaurant in the hotel was cheap and the food delicious. When I checked out I inadvertently left some cash in the safe and a staff member rushed it to me.

The hotel is very good, very well located with spacious rooms and a beautiful bathroom (for hair dryer, ask at the reception). The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and it is very comfortable to finish the day on a shopping area on the river. From the hotel you can do everything on foot: 1/4 night market hours, a little more for the ”Village Market” (great shops), but you can take a Tuck-Tuck for 100bth. The 100m beach is beautiful but for those who want to transat and parasol to take a Tuck-Tuck for ”Hua-Hin beach”. Grilled maize, frite fish, fruit etc ... On the same footing as the hotel of many small friendly restaurants and a washing machine (just washing and drying machines). You can make your wash and recover it 24 hours after, dry and ripe. All Wednesdays from 17:00 a.m. there is a still very typical night market (bus station is in front of the hotel, behind 7/eleven.

This hotel located at huahin 51 which’s very easy to go around . The room was very comfy it’s might not that big but everything in the room is useful ( if u wanna use the hair dryer u have to ask the receptionist ) the way back to bkk the staff help me to contact the bus so i don’t have to go to the bus station, i can just walk across the street to wait for the bus! very easy and i really appreciated for their help! but one and only problem is the noises 🥲 it veryyyy noisy bc of the bar i can feel that my bed shaking as a rhythm to the beat of the song
