Room is clean and spacious enough. Self-laundry available at the rooftop. Noise is heard in the bedroom when crowds gather outside as the parking and entrance gate are right outside the hotel.
The staff messaged me a day before the check in date to offer pick up service (for a fee) from Huangshan north station to the hotel which was convenient for us.

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!

The hotel is located below the Yuping Cable Car station, about a 10-minute walk away. From the window, you can see the Renzi Waterfall, with a remarkably clear lake nestled beneath it. They provide shuttle service to and from both the Yuping and Yungugu Cable Car stations, as well as the parking lot. Free raincoats and hiking poles are also provided. A complimentary breakfast and dinner are offered daily, along with tea tasting sessions, making for a truly pleasant and comfortable stay.

On Friday evening, as soon as we got off the car, two lovely ladies came to greet us. I had pre-ordered dinner on the way, so we could enjoy fresh, hot food right after settling in. The dishes were made with natural ingredients, and their homemade rice wine was incredibly delicious. We stayed for two nights and had all our breakfasts and dinners at the guesthouse – so yummy! Due to a small mishap, the owner even upgraded our room to a loft, which made my child excitedly exclaim it was a 'princess room'! Overall, the experience was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

The Anhui restaurant across the street, recommended by the owner, has great food and is affordable. The room is spacious with plenty of hot water, perfect for families, featuring one large bed and one 1.5-meter single bed. The decor has an industrial style. It's a very cost-effective option for a family of three. The owner's pick-up and drop-off service was also warm and punctual. 'Climb Huangshan and no other mountain is worth seeing' – what a perfect end to the trip!

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

It's located in the core scenic area of Tianhai, adjacent to Bright Summit and Aoyu Peak, surrounded by majestic peaks and a sea of clouds. In the morning, it's like a fairyland with mist swirling around, and at night, you can look up and see a brilliant starry sky. It's away from the hustle and bustle yet close to the main attractions, making your sightseeing route incredibly convenient. You can reach the popular West Sea Grand Canyon mini-train in just a 5-minute walk, saving you time and effort while exploring.
In terms of hygiene, it's truly a benchmark for mountain-top hotels. Whether it's a standard room or a dormitory, everything is spotlessly clean. The sheets and bedding are soft, dry, and replaced for each guest. The bathrooms are odor-free and thoroughly disinfected, and public areas are regularly cleaned; even the corridors are pristine. Considering that all supplies are carried up the mountain by porters, this level of cleanliness truly exceeds expectations.
The facilities are perfectly tailored to hikers' needs. Rooms come equipped with electric heaters, smart toilets, and kettles, along with a stable and ample 24-hour hot water supply – a hot shower after a hike is pure bliss! He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

MM19957****The room was clean and tidy, quite spacious, almost like a suite. The front desk service was also very good. They offered free pickup and drop-off to the Huangshan Scenic Area with just a phone call, which was super convenient since the hotel is right off the highway. If I wasn't worried about snow closing the highway on the way back after hiking, I definitely would have stayed another night! Highly recommend!

GGuest UserExceeded expectations! It's been 10 years since I last stayed on Huangshan Mountain, and the environment and service have improved incredibly. The hotel service was excellent, and the butler was very thoughtful. The room already had the key card inserted, and the heating was on continuously, making it very warm.
The butler would proactively inform us about the day's activities and the sunrise forecast for the next day. The buffet was great value for money; after a day of hiking, treating ourselves to a buffet was absolutely worth it. The evening mini-shows were also a hit with the kids.
Remarkably, we asked, just on a whim, if they had any snow play tools, and the staff actually brought out sleds and shovels for us, which was a delightful surprise! We'll definitely stay at Xihai again once the West Sea Grand Canyon reopens.

The owner upgraded me to a moon-viewing room for free. The scenery was really great. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. I was very satisfied with the dinner order. Every dish was delicious. Eight dishes + a few bottles of beer and drinks cost about 60 to 70 yuan per person. I recommend everyone to come. Attached is a picture of the scenery seen from the floor-to-ceiling window in the morning.
