The best place by far in Kernville. Great views with half the the rooms overlooking the river. You can sit out on the private balcony and watch the river flow by. And yes the pine trees feel and smell like a mountain resort. Easy 500 yard access to the best restaurant in town and the world famous Kernville Brewery. Room are comfortable and the staff is completely accommodating.

Great location and property. The rooms are big with large balconies. Gas fireplaces really ensure that rustic mountain feel. Nice pool and a path down to the river. Very friendly staff. Close to restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay here again.

Great find - we booked a river view and it was that (with mountains). Great veranda with plenty of room and table/chairs. Very peaceful location but a 5 min drive to Kernville (lovely picturesque town). Staff were really friendly during book in (just a note that the reception is not always manned so check in time agreement is required if coming after a certain time). Plenty of parking. Swimming pool with river/mountain views too. Didnt see any bears but plenty of birds. Room and bathroom were both large and clean. Would recommend.

Wow!!!what a gorgeous hotel with breathtaking views and the staff from the management on down was absolutely incredible.We can’t wait to return back on our next trip!The room’s were spotless cleaned and the rooms are spacious.The swimming pool was extremely clean with 360 degrees of Mountain View’s.

The view from our private balcony was breathtaking. The beautiful Kern River was steps from our room and we enjoyed the lyrical sounds of the rushing water. The interior of the room was adequate and clean. A real value for out money. We would stay there again the next time we visit.

Fireplace was cheap electric sitting inside an old entertainment center..the room was crowded... very disappointing for 150 on a week night..
