Nice and comfortable airport hotel. Location is tremendous, as it’s near to SEA airport, with lots of food venues around. A complimentary airport shuttle is available. The shuttle departs every thirty minutes to the airport, at :00 and :30. Exceptionally kind and helpful staff at the hotel, however, one specific shuttle driver was extremely rude and unbothered. I did not catch his name. Didn’t bother helping me with my suitcases and at the airport didn’t bother taking out my suitcases either. Also the shuttle departed full, so some passengers had to stand. Rooms were very clean, but a bit outdated. Since the hotel is big, there are two fitness facilities available, very convenient. I had a 1 bed queen room with a balcony, which is a nice touch. I would stay again, if staying near SEA airport.

The front desk staff, Sadie, Jaylene, and others were very friendly and helpful with answering questions about the area and helping with items we forgot at home. They have a computer and printer for customers to use. The view on the bay is spectacular. We could see the naval shipyard, ferries running across the bay, and many pleasure boats out in the bay. The rooms were clean and towels were changed daily during our stay which was several days. Breakfast was a grab and go, but it was sufficient to start your day. I would highly recommend this hotel. If I am back in the area in the future, I would definitely stay here.

So let's start with saying I stayed at this hotel recently, think a couple of days ago, with my family so we could attend a funeral. I selected a hotel near the airport for ease of access knowing that we all came from three different places, using two different airlines and one person driving. Our troubles started upon arrival. Despite having one member's air travel being delayed by an hour, we still arrived long before the 4pm check-in time and was promptly told the room was not ready and we could call later to find out when it is ready. There is something... odd going on with their phone. At times the call would not connect, like it did when we were at the airport when I tried to call, and other times it will go through. This happened throughout the entire stay, so I simply asked if they had an approximate time when they think it might be ready. She snapped at me that check-in is 4pm, as if I hadn't heard her before. Years ago, I did housekeeping for a summer. I know there is a list, and where we are on the list might suggest if we are going to be closer to 4pm or a little earlier. We left with our bags, despite them offering to hold them for us, because no trust had been established here. I called twice later, the first time the call would not connect, the second time our rooms were ready at 2pm. We were not given the Preimum WiFi password at check in. We were not given pool information at check-in. Really the only information we were given at all was about having a menu in the room for the breakfast service which is not... true. We all heard it, and not only was it not there, another staff member seemed confused why we were asking for it. This brings us to the other problems. This hotel advertises services and amenities they literally do not have. The Basil restaurant is not operational and is described as permanently closed by staff. There is no onsite restaurant. This meant, for us, that people on different meal schedules were now needing to eat together because the convenience of onsite preparation is simply not there. The first night, I noticed there is no HBO. They advertise on their website, but I assure you there is no HBO. It's not listed in the guide and there is no amount of channel surfing that will find what is not there. They do have StarzEncore but mostly it's an On Demand service that charges 19.99 for movies that are currently streaming on subscriptions services. These are not even in theater movies. The TV on-screen guide will suggest you can cast to the TV. This is not true. Embassy Suites has disabled this feature. The app is certainly capable of this feature, but the way they have it set-up is to use your phone as a glorified remote. It can not cast to the TV. We paid for a premium suit as well. 3 adults in a room that is advertised to hold 6. We needed to vacate our house for a day and had to find accommodations that would welcome a dog. The Inn at Gig Harbor was reasonably priced and met all our requirements. From the moment we checked in, the hotel felt like home. We were welcomed with surprisingly delicious chocolate chip cookies and treats for our poodle. The room was lovely and equipped with a fridge and microwave (both of which came in handy). Breakfast the next morning included outstanding cinnamon rolls, as well as sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and excellent coffee. The fireplace in the lobby is a great place to hang out. And the friendly staff will make sure everything concerning your visit is going smoothly. Five stars and our highest recommendation!

Stayed here recently and liked my stay very much. Due to Covid the hotel restaurant was not open which was disappointing but understandable. I stayed in a spa suite room at a very fair rate. The spa suite is a nice room and allows for a good soak with bubbles to relax. Good Internet, desk for work. Property felt safe , good parking in a well lit lot. Property is near tons of eateries and shopping. Super easy access to I-5 to both Tacoma and Seattle. Staff were efficient and accommodating. I would easily stay here again.
