Kaibae Hut Resort

Wonderful hotel! The rooms are good (we stayed in the main building, in a quad room). Both small and large towels are provided. The water pressure is good, and the water is hot, though we couldn't find a hairdryer. The sink is located outside the bathroom. There's a closable wardrobe, but no safe in the room. Cleaning is done upon request. Daily, water, coffee, shower gels, shampoo, and toilet paper are brought to the room. The breakfast is delicious; they make omelets, fried eggs, pancakes, and there's plenty of fruit. However, the coffee is instant. The staff are smiling and friendly. The section of the beach directly in front of the hotel isn't great, especially noticeable at low tide. It's better to walk a bit to the right. However, this is precisely where teenage elephants are brought several times a day (swimming with them costs 100 baht per person, photos are 100 baht for the whole group), and it's an amazing experience. We walked along the beach, reaching the end of the bay at low tide (they say you can supposedly walk to one of the islets from there, but we didn't try, as the bottom is rocky and water shoes would be needed). Pool towels were picked up at reception. The location is excellent, right across the road from an elephant farm and a 7/11. We were checked in before 2 PM, possibly because the hotel was almost empty during the off-season. After check-out, you can leave your belongings at the reception with the staff. We really enjoyed everything!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable enough for a family of four. The beds in the rooms are huge. The Wi-Fi worked excellently. The pool is clean, lit up, and offers a sea view right from it. Elephants are led to bathe right past the pool area. Breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. In the evenings, the hotel grounds are well-lit. The staff is friendly and maintains the cleanliness of the hotel premises. The infrastructure around the hotel is excellent.

Very spacious family rooms with great beds. There's a lovely bar in the resort next door with fantastic sunset views. You can easily walk over a small bridge to get there and you're always welcome. Every day, elephants are led to the beach. Everything you need is within walking distance (laundry, 7-Eleven, pharmacy, massage parlors, restaurants). In the neighboring town, there's a fantastic cooking school (Napalai Thai Cuisine School)! The beach is nice, and a few meters from the resort, there are no more rocks in the way. The value for money during the Green Season is outstanding.

I really liked the hotel, and we'll definitely be back. We stayed in a family room. The sea was literally 10 seconds away, and the sunsets were beautiful, but you had to walk a bit to find a good swimming spot. There weren't any sun loungers on the beach. The breakfasts were decent and filling. We even saw elephants walking by, and you could take photos with them and feed them on the beach. The room itself was simple and very modest, but it was clean and had everything we needed. It was quite spacious, with the sink located in the main room. There was a drying rack that we could take out onto the terrace. The terrace also had a table and plastic chairs, which were a bit old, but we still enjoyed sitting there, drinking tea, and you could even see the sea. The birds singing and the sound of the ocean were absolutely wonderful. Room cleaning was only done if you hung the sign; otherwise, they'd leave a bag with essentials outside our door every day. The grounds were large and green, with a 7/11 just a 5-minute walk away, along with plenty of cafes. The only downside was the lack of a safe in the room; you had to pay for one at reception, and then pay each time you wanted to close it after opening it. But that's a minor point compared to all the other positives. I loved both the beach and the hotel!

Check-in and check-out were smooth. The front desk staff helped with our luggage. The breakfast was great, and we saw elephants bathing every day. There's a 7-Eleven right at the corner and plenty of restaurants with a good variety of options. Everything was fantastic!

Kaibae Hut Resort Cozy room with a garden view, everything was clean and tidy. The vacation was a success, no problems whatsoever.

・Amenities: shampoo, body soap, and a shower cap. No toothbrush, just a shower cap. ・Musty smell. ・Towels had a strong old-person smell. ・Glass door meant I was constantly worried about people looking in.
