I stayed in two different rooms. The more affordable one was dirty when I arrived (including dirt from previous guest on the toilet seat, a weird looking something next to the bed etc.). At that point I already had an issue with front desk staff making mistake charges on my card re: previous, directly booked nights and being incredibly difficult, ineffective and unfair about it. When I inquired with them they repeatedly said things like "let us explain to YOU agaiiiin" - when it was actually their mistake, plus a power outage that caused issues for other guests as well plus their bad communication around all of it that caused the issue. So when I got the new room (this time booked via ******* to prevent any more weird charges), I wasn't in the mood to make a complaint with front desk staff again and just got disinfectant wipes from the gym and sorted it out myself. The place has a great concept and nice employees overall, they also gave me a discount for the whole confusion they caused. But the latter was *still* not resolved days after checking out and my bank had to be involved to sort it out and settled the account. Very frustrating and the cleanliness issue straight up disgusting. Good coffee shop diner as well as ocean nearby and nice pool though.
