Wine Apartments Cracow
4.4/520 Reviews
Spacious studio apartment with great facilities including fridge, hob, glasses, and plenty of storage. Double bed was comfy, and was one big double mattress which we liked - some hotels do two single mattresses which we never like as we always find ourselves falling through the gap! But on the double bed it was 2 single duvets rather than 1 big double - which I’d have preferred. Nice and warm, with an additional heater in storage if required (but we didn’t need it). Bathroom was great too. It was a nice easy walk into the square, only 20 minutes - not so far out that we ever felt the need to get on the tram, but not so close that we felt suffocated by the busy areas. There is a Wine Garage underneath which was really nice. It was nice to be able to nip down for food and wine without needing to get ourselves caught in the snow! Note to others: there is no lift in the apartment. This wasn’t an issue for us but might be an issue to someone else. Would stay again and would highly recommend to others!
The Crown Krakow - Handwritten Collection

Hotel is finished to a high standard, interior decor is really nice and has a fancy feel. All staff we encounted at reception/breakfast/ the bar and housekeeping staff were all friendly and helpful, we had a couple of queries throughout the stay and the staff helped us with all of those. The breakfast was really tasty, we loved the platter, and then the stuff you could also order was amazing- we particularly enjoyed the pancakes! The location is out of the main old town but is a very easy walk into the town, following one straight road, passing many shops and attractions anyway. The tram was also available but we didn’t bother as we enjoyed the short walk each day as we had lovely weather.
Freedom Hostel

The owners of the hostel behave like a pig! CAUTION We booked a hostel in February 2020, but due to the coronavirus we could not come. We asked for a refund, but we were offered a certificate, according to which we could arrive on any convenient dates until the end of 2020. I decided to go forward and agree, I felt sorry for the tourism business, because it was so bad at that time. And in vain, they did not spare us! Until the end of 2020, the situation for tourists has not improved. In December 2020, I asked to renew the certificate or return the money. I did not receive a response to the letter, as well as to several subsequent letters. Three weeks ago I wrote to them on Facebook. There, the administrator said that the owner of the hostel had changed, who, apparently, bought the business, but decided not to give a damn about old debts! The administration promised that they would contact me, but they didn’t even ask for detailed information and contacts. Pig attitude. I wish success and prosperity to business. Let you come across the same decent business partners that you yourself are!

An excellent hostel, felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Clean room, located in a quiet area near many of Krakow's beautiful historical sites. Moreover there are facilities to make your own food in a clean kitchen
Hyatt Place Krakow

I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 pm after a long journey - I was greeted with information that the system was down and it was not possible to check me into the room I booked and that I had to wait in the bar area. Fortunately, the complications did not last long, otherwise it would be reasonable to offer at least a glass of water while waiting for the problem to be solved. However, this is a detail compared to the point: in the room I had no way to turn off the fan, which was so loud that I couldn't sleep. I reported the problem at the reception the next day and asked to turn off the fan - I received information that at the moment there is no such possibility, because the person responsible and able to do it is currently not at work. As a solution, I was offered earplugs, which are very uncomfortable for me to sleep in, but as they say ”better than nothing”. I was hoping for a shade of relaxation during my two-day stay, and as a result I left the hotel with a headache. Two nights of sleep deprivation, annoying ”humming” of the fan in the room and the inability to open the window = drama.
Hotel Delta

We stayed at the Hotel Delta during October half term. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms although a bit small were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable which is what you need after a full day sightseeing! The shower was powerful and always plenty of hot water. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby was great and to sit and chat with other guests. Breakfast was good value and plentiful and set you up for the day. Staff organised our trip to Auschwitz which is a must! All the Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the centre. There was a great pizzeria 5 minutes walk away to the left of the hotel as you come out of the main doors which was very cheap to eat (steak, chips , salad £7 and a glass of Prosecco £2) very nice!!! All in all we would definitely recommend and return ourselves. If you go on the horse and carriages or the electric buggy sightseeing tours barter them down with the prices you can get a lot better deal!
