The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. I loved my stay at Hualuxe. I was able to talk to them through wechat before coming to confirm Covid-19 testing policies. The service was great, he hotel was clean, and the grounds are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and assisted me in booking a car to visit the Stone Forest. The location is far from the city. I loved being close to the lake and walked there a few times. Overall, it was a great stay!

The hotel is within the National Normal University, and it also bears the name of the Normal University institution. Overall it's okay, old-school four-star level. Stayed for two nights in a row. The room cleaning on the second day was not very good. There were hairs on the sink and there were no tea bags (but it doesn't matter if you live alone). The breakfast is very ordinary. It is recommended to add espresso or American style, not just G7 coffee (Vietnamese Nestle, awesome). The rice noodles are okay. The swimming pool and gym belong to the National Normal University. I have no experience with the hot springs, so I can’t comment. The biggest advantage is that you can go directly to the National Normal University from the swimming pool, which is very convenient. The scenery on campus is very good, including a small forest park. The hotel is the second best in the university town, the first is Hampton.
