The room was comfortable and clean. Although it's a bit far from the bustling city center, the surrounding area is quiet and perfect for rest. The room was fully equipped. The staff were also very friendly and patient during self-check-in. I highly recommend staying here!!!!!

Kyotology is located a bit away from the centre but in a good neighbourhood near two main metro stations (just 15 min walk to Kyoto station). The double room is very spacious, the hotel is quite calm and they replace your towels and empty trash bins each day. A place I’ll return to when back to Kyoto.

Very good location, very clean and very friendly staff. Would recommend staying here but the Laundry was kind of expensive it was 700 yen for a wash and dry 😞😞

Super great! The room was spacious and the service was excellent. The old lady at the front desk didn't speak much English, but she understood what I needed. The washer and dryer were good too. While there wasn't a typical Japanese bathtub, I didn't really need one anyway. There's a fantastic conveyor belt sushi place nearby.

The self-check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and the room was clean and tidy. The garden attached to the room is like a mini balcony, which is quite a creative touch! There's a parking lot right next door, making it super convenient for those driving. At this price, it's definitely great value for money.
