Dear EMA House Team (1 Nordstrasse Zurich) I have been staying with you on and off since May 2023. I cant rate you high enough, 5 Stars don't do justice. You are a fantastic team who have accommodated all my plan changes, even when it was at a short notice due to flight cancellations etc. The place is spotless and much better than any hotel in Central Zurich. I don't even think about looking for any other place in the city. I always feel very welcome when I arrive even when it was late at night. The suites are modern, clean, specious and very comfortable. Located in city center. About 8min walk from Zurich HB to hotel, if you carry a lot heavy baggage, you can take tram from Zurich HB station to Central ( only 1 stop ) from there only 1-2 min walk to hotel, very convenient!
Around the hotel there’s a lot shops and restaurants, only walking distance.

Elegant, older, well maintained, albeit a bit dated, the hotel is located directly across the street from the Zurich main train station and trolleys. If, as we did, you want to be within easy walking distance of the train station this is a great location. If you want to be in a very quiet location on or close to the lake, this is not where you want to stay. There is a small grocery store in the underground passageway to the train station. The hotel common areas are well-maintained, and it has a small bakery and bar that serves a very good dinner. There is a separate restaurant space on the second floor that only serves breakfast, and the food and the staff are excellent and it’s fairly priced. However, the hotel does not have a conventional restaurant. The lobby and rooms are small by american standards, but very quiet and well-appointed, have a good bed and the bathroom has a bath/shower combo with very good water pressure (and air conditioning). The small electric refrigerator in the room was set up as a mini-bar, but it was ok to remove the bottles. It does not get very cold. We were upgraded to a small suite with a sitting room, so I don’t know what a standard room would be like. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There did not appear to be a concierge. The hotel allowed us to check-out 2 hours later, which we appreciated. All in all, a very good hotel for the price. However, if you’re looking for a very high-end american-style hotel, this may not be for you, but you should expect to pay two to three times more for those hotels

I was plagued with trepidation before staying at the Swiss Star California. I had read some negative comments on Google Maps and trip.com, and the dread of what might go wrong loomed heavy over me. However, as fate would have it, my fears were unwarranted - the hotel, or rather, the service apartment, turned out to be a pleasant surprise and surpassed my expectations.
The room was clean, well-equipped, and not too shabby. The heater functioned perfectly, which was a relief since it was a frosty February in Zurich. They had everything one would expect from a basic hotel room.
But here's a word of caution: after booking your stay, make sure to check your email. You will receive a message from the hotel, not just a confirmation, containing the passcode and room number. Without this information, you might find yourself stranded outside the door, with no one to receive your calls or help with check-in. Trust me; I know how it feels to be left out in the cold, frantically seeking assistance from Trip.com.
Furthermore, if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to pray for a room on the ground or first floor. Unfortunately, there is no lift in the building.
However, let's not forget that this is one of the most affordable places to stay in Zurich. With that in mind, who could realistically expect luxury amenities and top-notch service? All in all, Swiss Star California proved to be a pleasant surprise and an excellent value for the price.

Trip Inn Zurich Hotel is a cheap budget hotel which met our expectation for a simple accommodation. Also, the supermarket is just around the corner. However, we can’t seem to have an option not to have the staff from coming in to clean our room whenever we are out for an activity. We prefer to have more privacy as we do keep some of our less important belongings in the room. Overall, it is a good experience.

Good value in a great location. We walked from the train station. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast while watching pedestrians and cyclists making their way to work and school. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and strong. The young man who checked us in was 5 star. Definitely recommend.

 But we are self-driving tours. There is no paid large public parking lot. The so-called parking lots shown on the mobile phone map are private or supermarkets. In short, he will not give you parking as soon as the supermarket closes. Payment is not paid or paid. But there is also a way to find the  white ground line  meter ． on the street can be parked for free until 9 am, and then continue for two hours . In short, if you drive over, don't look like we stormed  looking for a public parking lot in this area, you can't find it, put it on the street.
 There is no picky place to live. There is also a cute small terrace that is to study how to open the iron curtains for a while. It turned out that the switch was on the back of a wooden frame, not on the window.
The cleanliness is high, the space is large, the cabinet is very beautiful, and it is also equipped with a dishwasher, which is very convenient. This is our dinner.  Everything is good. If you want to be picky, the two cooking pots are not very useful. I hope to finish these small things. It will be perfect. Next time I come to Zurich, I will live in this room, because the check-in is simple, he will give you a password and press the password key at the door and fall off, and there is a lock at the gate, the whole seat is safer, there is also an elevator Don't worry about luggage . What a great hotel! We were so happy with everything about it. It was close to the train station in Zurich with easy access to bus and tram routes. We were so impressed with the employees, everyone was very kind and helpful. The room was large and spotless. We especially loved all the amenities , the top quality soap and lotions, water , robes, slippers, sleep masks. We felt very pampered. We paid for the breakfast and were not disappointed. They had a vegetarian option which one had and the other had the meat option. It was presented in a elegant way with great service. We were only sorry that we had not booked for more days. We definitely will be back.

It is a 15-minute walk from the central railway station, and can also take 2 light rail stations.
