AAnonymous UserThe facilities are definitely up to the standard of a four-star hotel. The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub are beautiful at night, the breakfast buffet has fresh fruits, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable.

GGuest UserAside from the normal… Clean hotel, comfortable beds, delicious warm breakfast, excellent location… This hotel went above and beyond and being accommodating. I want to send a huge shout out to one of the girls at the front desk, Daisy. She had no obligation to go the extra mile for me, but she did. there’s nothing I appreciate more than outstanding customer service. I’ll be back and I will always recommend this hotel!

There are two restaurants in the hotel, one of which is an Italian restaurant. The food is beautifully presented, the price is not cheap, and it tastes good. 😋

There is also a dry cleaner, a fast food restaurant, and a health drink shop on the way from the hotel to 7-11. However, the only shortcoming of the hotel is that it took only three days to clean the room and call the Ctrip staff. , helped me solve it. It is said that during the epidemic, the hotel has such regulations, but you can tell the hotel that cleaning is required, and it is also possible. If you do not need cleaning, you can put the garbage bag at the door of the room, and Ctrip customer service will handle it in a timely manner and quickly. There is room service to come clean. However, there are no garbage bags in the trash can of the hotel. Next, I went to 7-11 to buy some. Besides, the hotel bedding, the mattress is really too soft. It is so soft that I cannot sleep on a soft bed. The third day My spine hurts when I sleep. It's really uncomfortable. The sheets and blankets are uncomfortable, and the pillows have a smell. It's the smell of head oil. It's not the reason I slept for a few days, it's the first night. Just smell it! You can ignore it if you don't mind! After all, I can endure it for a few days 😥

GGuest UserMy wife and I often stay at Marriot properties throughout the United States. We are retired and do a lot of travel in the US and abroad. The customer service at each Marriott Hotel location has been very good, however at the Marriott Bayview, Newport Beach the service we received upon arrival and all throughout our one-week stay were exceptional. Let me explain. When we arrived at the Hotel, my wife and I was greeted by Josiah Escamilla, the Manager. To say he was very professional, very polite, and very accommodating is an understatement. Josiah was excellent in the attention he gave us, his professional demeanor, and most of all the unbelievable hospitality that Josiah showed us was just…incredible. Never before have we ever been treated with such hospitality in such a professional and courteous manner. Josiah made our stay just an absolute delight. Josiah made certain that whenever we called for room service or for extra towels, blankets, etc., we got what we needed in record time. Josiah was very knowledgeable about events and activities in the hotel and the various amenities the hotel had to offer e.g., restaurant, in-room dining service, gym, outside walking trail, etc. He and his staff made our stay very enjoyable. When we left the hotel, my wife thought that she had lost her purse, we called Josiah to inform him of the loss and within just 15 minutes Josiah called us back to let us know that he had gone back to our room and found my wife’s purse. He then secured the purse in the Hotel safe and insisted that he be the one to give it to my wife when she returned the following day to pick it up. Josiah also was able to correct an error in our Lifetime Gold Elite membership points, which upon our checkout had not been added to our account. He called us to inform us that he made the correction and as a result, the points we earned during our stay, were added to our existing points balance. He and his staff must be acknowledged for the tremendous work they put in to make our visit so comfortable and so enjoyable. We really appreciate the unbelievably high level of service we received throughout our stay. This kind of exceptional service we enjoyed, thanks to Josiah and the rest of his staff, Christine, Maryam, Mariana, Stephanie, Anthony, Tommy, and Josef is why we will continue to stay at Marriott Hotels and particularly the Bayview Marriott, Newport Beach. Kudos to Josiah and the entire staff at the Marriott Bayview Hotel, Newport Beach, California. Thank you, Brian W.

5500dcmWifi constantly drops in day paying wont make it better. Cleaning is poor will only do fast job on floor, some of bathroom every TWO weeks !? or after move out since Covid. Used to be weekly and whole room clean. They dont clean microwave, stove.fan hood ,fridge said won't dust or clean furniture counters window sills if you have things on any part of tables/dressers or even when you dont .TV windowsill underbed are now thick with dust is why I asked what is wrong. Said we have to clean our own rooms but for floor tub toilet and sinks. Wont give TP you have to wait in a line at front desk to ask when you run out.and for fresh towels Lots more possible COVID exposure in that. i had to move out of accessible room due to noise and now they even changed shower heads so its very hard to wash hair etc They said to save water. i got that surprise Friday night with no notice. Now my 5 minute showers will be 20. Not such a water savings, and even harder for me. This used to be a great place . Sadly I'm here in a disabled veterans program to avoid homelessness during Covid but its Less clean than it was and my choice noise outside room not dealt with was accessible or sleep wasn't good. Now no real cleaning? . Other longer term guests clean themselves or hire outside maids. There is not enough storage or accessibliity for long term stays and that you need to store things on dresser and tables is used as more excuse to not clean. What a shame they have lowered cleaning and room supply standards when saying they are higher. Been here 6-8 months and hearing more and more complaints .Not sure what local corporate is thinking -doing less while advertising it's more.
