Hotels near Lorenzi Park, Las Vegas

Overall experience was ok. The lobby was beautiful, there was no odor of smoke, and everyone was very nice. However on the first two days, the TV and internet wasn’t working. I called to have someone come fix our TV, but no one ever came. Then we figured out that the network wasn’t working however we weren’t notified about it. The pillows were awful. I had to fold them in half in order for it to have some type of firmness. Even using the extra pillows didn’t help either. One side of the bed was saggy. One of the bed side table lamp kept flickering on/off the entire time. The shower didn’t drain the water while using. The hallways wasn’t really clean either. There was dust balls on the ground.

Price is reasonable, it is off the ***** but you can walk to the ***** in 10-15 minutes, reasonable distance. Room is spacious and quite well maintained! Hotel is now partially under renovation, looking forward for the newly constructed area! Though some part of the hotel is not in service, but I was surprised to see there’s a good Chinese restaurant inside the hotel! It was a good experience!

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. Hotel was spectacular. Great room which was large and had awesome views of wheel and sphere. Pool was great. The hotel was a little worn in areas, but still a fantastic hotel with our highlight being the flamingoes for sure 🦩

No breakfast, but the room is very large and fully equipped. It is also close to the Paragon fountain. It is highly recommended if you do not go to the casino. Parking can only be valet, and tipping is theoretically required.

I travel to Vegas once or twice a year and this place is quickly becoming a favorite. I really like the large rooms and love having a sliding door to open for fresh air, bird songs in the morning and the view of the ”serene” courtyard with its palms. It's so much better than walking miles through a ****** to a claustrophobic sealed room. There is a convenience store close by with sometimes sketchy people hanging around, but if you're at all street smart, it shouldn't be a problem. There's a steady stream of tourists walking between here, Virgin and other hotels to the strip. I'm pleased that the management deters parties, noise in the public areas and has locked down access points where people could be let in anonymously. My only complaint is that there is no seating on the balconies. I'd have been happy with a $5 resin chair.

My leisure,libation,fun,enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.

Good. The breakfast was served from 6am~10am. It was convenient for us to take it easy in the morning. We had booked a room for 3 people, but there were only two bottles of water provided in the room. It can be improved when the guests ask for one more bottle of water at the front desk and the request shall be satisfied easily.
