Hampton Inn & Suites Leavenworth

How clean and neat the room is

Walking distance to everything

The staff was FANTASTIC and the amenities were as expected for the price point. The room was one of the least sound proof rooms I have ever experienced at a hotel, tho. I could hear entire (word for word) conversations in the hall and parking lot while in the room/ window & door closed. The bed was very hard and the pillows flimsy and thin; the combo made for a really poor night of sleep. To be clear the conversations happening outside my room did not seem to be high volume.

Clean rooms, great breakfast, super welcoming staff. Close enough for us to walk to downtown area, but far enough away to not get bogged down with the heavy summer traffic. The Safeway next door is a plus too for snacks.

We were on the first floor, near the exit door, the walls were thin, and occasionally noisy. There was a large spider in the bathroom on our first night. Disclaimer, I should have booked earlier, and directly, so I could have discussed my disability needs with a real person. Free breakfast was quite minimal. The bed, couch, etc was very comfortable. And, best of all, the hotel is five minutes from everywhere we wanted to go over the two days we were in Leavenworth.
