Wow what a location and view from the rooftop. Also one of the best welcomes I've ever received. Once the owner discovered I could speak Mandarin and am from the UK, he was over the moon and gave me a free upgrade on the room with a great view of the courtyard. The rooftop reveals just how well located the hotel is right in the centre of Lijiang. It is however off the main tourist arteries just enough that it is quiet. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Lijiang.

Brilliant place to stay! Right in the straight middle of the Old City! Rooftop view of snow mountain and a simply unbelievable host! Very kind and considerate!
