Lovely and beautiful place for photo-taking. Great location as it smack right at the middle of the ancient town. Host is very friendly and helpful making our whole trip pleasant and memorable.

Hotel is located right in the middle of Lijiang old town. Very accessible to lots of restaurants and interesting shops. Hotel staff is very helpful and responsive. Definitely a great place to stay.

We had a great stay at Pure Sunshine. It's an amazing location in the centre of the old town and the staff are really lovely. Great value for money and fantastic views from the roof terrace. Would highly recommend!

We were greeted by the very friendly and hospitable Chen Fen upon arrival, he made sure we were comfortable and had all the information we needed for our stay. We managed to communicate with ease using translation apps and gestures.
Chen Fen was very kind and allowed us to leave our bags safely at reception for a few days while we went hiking. He also kept an eye out for a delivery we sent to the hotel and kindly made us a cup of delicious local tea when we came to pick it up.
The room was very clean and the beds super comfortable and very quiet. The older style of house and garden is very beautiful and well maintained.

We are staying 3 days here and the service is so good. Room big and clean. The hotel location is strategic cause near so many shop and beautiful place. Owner also so kind and helpful. High recommended place. Jom Malaysian stay together here if your visiting Lijiang. my name Is mawa haha

We stayed at Pure Sunshine in Lijiang during our June 2025 trip. Mr. Chen came to pick us from the north gate and brought us to his place. Room is clean and equipped with all amenities. He very friendly and helpful. Even made us tea and chatted with us. Location is very convenient. There's a deck with beautiful view of Mt. Yulong. Overall we are very happy with our stay and highly recommended. .

Recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfy, clean, friendly homestay!!!
Our room was very nice & warm & had all we needed for 3 nights. We also experienced amazing hospitality from 陈老板 & his staff — they were super helpful in arranging pick up service from lijiang station for us (with the chauffeur helping to carry our luggage to the accoms, strongly recommend this as the roads are hard to carry heavy luggages in) and also helped us when we had trouble ordering food/ miscellaneous items to the address. We also communicated with them easily via WeChat for any issues. Will def be back again :)

The place is amazing, very typical. We were upgraded for free! The host was friendly and super helpful, he loves his job! I definitely recommend and I would stay there again!
