The room has enough space and is very hygienic. You can open the balcony door but cannot go out. The service is also good, but the location is not very convenient. At this price, there should be more and better options. I probably won't stay here again next time.

The Ivens Hotel is more than meets the eye. From the outside, nothing indicates the incredible service and amenities that await within. Once we checked in and were brought to our room, we discovered two glasses of port in our room. After traveling for over 24 hours, we were exhausted and ready to just hit the sack. Instead, our spirits were buoyed by this gesture. On our last day there, we came back from our walk in the early afternoon to find two very delicious Pasteis De Nata. Another welcome as we sadly had to leave the next day. Between arrival and departure, the concierge was a font of information guiding us on our different journeys each day. I highly recommend The Ivers Hotel; it is an oasis of calm in busy Lisbon.

This is an experience rather than just a stay. The rooms are beautifully planned and have a whole African Safari team my room had a lovely sitting area lots of balconies and light. The breakfast is excellent. Rocco is the bar at the hotel that is very cool and that you literally do not want to leave.

The Ivens is my favorite hotel in a city I’ve ever stayed in! It is beautiful, unique, and the service is exceptional. It is conveniently located close to wonderful restaurants and historical sites. The Ivens was the highlight of our time in Lisbon,

Great Location! Great staff! Great Architecture! Comfy beds & more. Our visit to the Ivens was indeed special. When one walks into the hotel, you walk down a staircase and are immediately transported to a different place and time. The hotel evokes the memories of the great explorers at the turn of the 20th century. The hard wood, the library, tiles around the fireplace make it a warm and relaxing space. Once checked in we went to the room and found it perfectly appointed. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The mini-bar was super stocked and the shower was great and warm. Breakfasts were more than enough. The staff was amazing. We got to like everyone. Your coffee, water, or juice was never empty. The portions were spot-on and the yogurt was homemade. The concierge & doormen were incredibly helpful. They didn't miss a step, whether it was handling luggage, guiding us to the shopping district around the corner, or giving us just general tips. The entire hotel staff rocked. The location was pretty awesome too. We could walk around and feel safe, and it was an easy jaunt to the ocean, coming back, uphill, was a little different lol. Overall, one of the best properties we have stayed at.

The hotel itself was not as special as we thought it would be. The staff was very nice and very kind and gracious but there were a bunch of things I didn't love. 1) the room had a view of - I guess you would call it a large plastic roof? - we opened the shade and all you saw was a plastic roof type thing. 2) the room was TINY. 3) the bathroom door doesn't close all the way so you feel self conscious when using the toilet. The pillows had a slight crinkle and heavy cases that weren't soft and luxurious. The hotel wasn't a bad place, just not what I expected at that level of luxury/price. I wish we had stayed somewhere else but went to the bar and gastropub instead. The bar at the hotel was SO chic and beautiful. The service there was incredible and the scene very vibey. They had two dining options within the bar - a gastropub and a crudo bar. We tried both and they were wonderful. The barrata was so great. I would recommend staying at another place if you want real luxury (but the staff was really sweet - especially the consierge and the door attendants) and visit the bars at the Ivens for dinner and drinks!

This hotel is just incredible. Yes, it is pricey, there's no doubt. But my room was stunning, with a huge soaking tub (this was an upgraded room). They also rewarded my Marriott status with unlimited snacks and minibar drinks, which I have never experienced before. The staff was wonderful, and the concierge stamped and mailed all of my postcards. My room was not very big (standard European city fare) but that was ok, because the room was quiet, beautifully appointed, and there were so many special little details and touches. Would absolutely be back.

This gem is just off the main tourist area of Lisbon…the staff are incredible. The hotel itself is quaint and luxurious…the Rocco restaurant amazing place for a cocktail and the breakfast they serve is elegant and incredible. Easily now one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever been to and it starts with the staff….
