The impression of the second visit was very bad. When I checked in at the counter, I suddenly said that I would charge a ten-pound service fee for my card. I didn’t understand that the counter was still very tough, and I was not sure if I would refund afterwards. I was arranged to the basement room, and the air was too stuffy. Open the window, the room is small. The free luggage storage service is good, but who you meet at the counter depends entirely on luck.

Lovely traditional hotel. On our arrival we were greeted straight away reception staff were attentive and we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a Lounge and balcony. The room was Very well presented your feet sank into the carpet, bed was very very comfortable and the pillows were fabulously soft. Tea and coffee provided also a fridge for you to chill your drinks or keep food fresh. Beautiful robes in the bathroom with his and hers sink bath and shower. A separate toilet. A wonderful nights sleep as the area is very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic freshly cooked to order and served to table with a pot of hot tea or coffee, there were also fresh pastries, freshly squeezed fruit juices cold meat’s cheese all you could want and the staff were great nothing was to much trouble. We have booked again to stay in May. For me this hotel ticked all the boxes and then some If I was going to pick flies the only thing I could pick out would be the lifts we only used them once, we used the stairs after that which helped me walk my breakfast off.

Our family of three enjoyed our four-night stay in a triple room. Room decor is clean and modern. Breakfast very high quality. Convenient location, minutes to Kensington Gardens. Friendly and efficient staff except for one encounter when I tried to use the yoga room I was told it was booked and that I could not have a yoga mat to practice in my room instead, as mats were not allowed to leave the yoga room! Seems to have been some misunderstanding which was swiftly corrected by the hotel manager. I love the concept of this wellness hotel, it would be nice if the lovely yoga room was opened up for general use. It's far too big to be limited to private use. Overall it was a fabulous experience to stay here and we hope to return one day soon.

The location is a bit far from Carton to take the carrier. But the staff is so sweet and lovely compared to the first hotel. I was embarrassed to guide me to the lower room on the first floor, but it gave me guidance in advance. You can have a room on the ground floor in the same hotel next door. Everyone smiled and said hello first, and the chocolate service was so good. Two regrets are that the club room in the basement below the ground floor has a high level of noise between floors and the wi-fi is not good. Besides, it is the best in every way. Next hotel you want to visit again. Staff are very lovely and kind. always try to say hello first. Everything was pefect. But there was two thing to need improve. one is wi-fi is not working well. disconnecting a lot. the other is noise from upstairs. But I highly recommend this hotel and i also want to stay there again. Because of lovely staff.

This hotel gives me a better feeling. Conveniently located on a hillside, trains and tracks can be seen in front of the hotel. Adore this hotel and always lovely to stay here and meet the friendly staff. Conveniently located near to either Maida Vale tube station (Bakerloo line) or St John's Wood (Jubilee) and a short walk to Abbey Road Studios, ”The Beatles” crossing, Lords Cricket Ground and Regent's Park. Not too far from Hyde Park/Marble Arch/Oxford Street either. Rooms refurbished since I was last here pre-pandemic and it makes such a different to them. Super clean, also comfortable beds and modern showers / bathroom. Bar and Italian restaurant next door integral to the hotel (Carluccios). Can get a glass of wine to take to your room after it's closed if you ask at reception (thank you). Not a great deal immediately around the hotel but if I'm away for work this isn't an issue as Carluccios is good enough. Even if on vacation, it's a short 15 minute taxi ride to Oxford Street. Wonderful breakfast choice in the morning also in Carluccios but run by the hotel staff. Everything you could imagine you would want for breakfast and a big enough space not to have to queue for a table. Seems a safe affluent area (certainly between the hotel and Regent's Park). And a nice old tin church on the walk from Maida Vale to the hotel! USB charging points in the (at least refurbished) rooms. Oh and in the summer on hot days they give you free ice creams!

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

Having in the past tried several hotels in the paddington area of london, none of which ticked all my boxes, I was delighted to find what has over the past four years become my home from home in london. The Belvedere in peaceful and attractive Norfolk square is a family run hotel managed by a delightful couple called Richard and Leslie. They are very much hands on and are supported by an excellent , helpful and friendly team of reception, bedroom service and breakfast room staff. The hotel is very clean and well presented with well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms plus comfortable beds.. Breakfast is superb and the prices of rooms represent really excellent value. Paddington stations are 2 mins walk and the city centre is 20 mins max by underground. I cannot recommend this small hotel highly enough and promise that you will not be disappointed should you be wise enough to choose it. You always get a great welcome and are made to feel at home. TOP MARKS ON EVERY COUNT.

This is singly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. And I've stayed in some dives over the years. What made it totally unpassable was the bed. Totally worn out. Springs poking out everywhere... I get we're at a price point in central London but surely there are some basics that a room need to keep and if it's impossible to sleep properly because of the bed that's a number one... The bathroom is a cupboard where you can shower, use the loo and wash your hands at the same time... tiny... This hotel may suit some people for a purpose but I simply can't... if you book this place, go in with your eyes open...

The hotel is provided for rest, if there are major problems in the facilities, you need to pay special attention! !! !!

Kinda a strange hotel this one. The location is close to Paddington station which is convenient. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. The issue is that everything is shut by 11. There is one bar open till 12 and thats it. So if you coming for nightlife I would suggest another location. The check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was friendly. There is no lift so kinda inconvenient carry suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. And the really weird thing is they have rooms on left and right which looks the same. So i went to 3rd floor and tried to get in my room before going back to the reception and realising i went left instead of right haha. The carpet is old and tired but the rooms are clean. They are very small but they have everything you need just a little squashed. The window opened for fresh air and alot of charging points and lighting in the room. It was kinda noisy in the room as some german students were staying and you could hear them till the early hours. Breakfast voucher was giving to me which was a bonus as i didnt know i was getting it and bfast is in the basement. This is where it got awkward. There is a sign saying 'wait to be seated and served' so im waiting and the staff (around 4 of them are just looking at me and no one is coming. I stand there like a lemon and still no one coming but they looking so i dont know if to go in myself or keep waiting. I kept waiting and eventually someone came. They didnt say 'we have this, we have that help yourself. There was no communication so didnt know if they bringing something or u serve urself? So i waited a min or so and watched others then went to grab the food myself. Its a continental style but not bad. Had the main things, Tea, Coffee, toast, eggs, cheese, cereal. I think it not bad for a hotel of this value. I would stay here again myself for 1 night. More than 1 night i think is too small for me. But the price of this hotel is good and i think overall you getting more for your money here than elsewhere going off the location, clean room and breakfast.
