Sheng Di Hotel

This was my fourth visit to the Longji Rice Terraces, and this was my most satisfying trip yet. Since I was traveling alone, I contacted the hotel owner in advance to arrange a ride from Guilin to Longji. The price was reasonable, and I didn't need to transfer, saving both time and hassle. After getting off at Ping'an Village, it was just a one-minute walk to the hotel, no uphill climb, so I didn't have to worry about carrying my luggage. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the rice terraces, offering a better view than 95% of hotels. The room amazed me; the facilities were excellent, the environment was clean, and the view was fantastic. I could see the rice terraces from the bed, and the night view from the terrace was simply unbeatable. The owners were incredibly welcoming. Seeing that I was traveling alone as a student, they invited me to have dinner with them. The owner's wife cooked a delicious meal that I ate three big bowls of rice with, and the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious! The hotel is right next to the rice terraces, very close to the viewing platforms. A walk around both platforms takes less than two hours. When I went out at night, the owner's wife specifically reminded me to use a flashlight and be careful, which was very thoughtful. The next day when we left, the owner even helped us arrange a ride directly to Yangshuo. I'll definitely stay at Ping An Shengdi Hotel again if I have the chance to visit Longji in the future, and I'll also recommend it to my friends.
