The onwer drove us from Ping'an Rice Terrace back to his hotel with a fee which is very reasonable price and super convenient for us. We were upgraded to a larger room with a balcony. Our room is very spacious, cleaned and very comfortable. Breakfast is free and delicious. We'd lunch and dinner from the hotel restaurant too, good menu. We highly recommend this hotel."

"The reviews were absolutely spot on: the owner has impeccable taste, is incredibly kind, and truly goes out of their way to accommodate any request. I highly recommend the Sunrise Loft room. The hotel is perfectly situated between Viewing Platforms #1 and #2, giving it an absolutely unbeatable, prime location. Even though there were only two of us, we booked the 4-person loft room, and it was fantastic to lie in bed and watch the rice terraces. Unfortunately, a typhoon brought rain, so we missed the sunrise. However, we were treated to a vast and ethereal sea of clouds. Despite this minor regret, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. The owner's homemade rice wine is absolutely delicious – cold, sweet, and refreshing. Enjoying it with tasty dishes like bamboo chicken was truly one of life's great pleasures. When we arrived, the owner kindly picked us up from the parking lot. On our departure, we were rushing to Yangshuo, and the owner recommended a driver who was not only charming but also incredibly skilled, navigating the winding mountain roads with impressive ease. Later, when we hired a car in Yangshuo, the local driver, upon hearing the price we paid for our transfer from the hotel, immediately exclaimed it was an incredibly fair deal. The owner is truly exceptional!"

"Room is spacious and clean, food was great. Location is perfect, amazing view and within walking distance to 9 dragon 5 tiger view point. The owner came to the station to pick us up with his car and I am still amazed at how he carry our two large luggages 40lbs each with just a bamboo stick and walk up and down those stairs to the hotel, we were tired just to walk up with empty hand. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended."

"First and foremost, the service truly impressed us! Initially, we were assigned a room on the first floor, which had a noticeable woody scent that my partner, who is quite sensitive, found unpleasant. After mentioning it to the front desk, they quickly moved us to a third-floor room, which smelled much better thanks to the air fresheners. The afternoon tea was also very thoughtfully prepared. We had dinner at the hotel, and while it wasn't cheap, it's understandable given its mountain location. Plus, since our order exceeded 200, the owner surprised us with a complimentary bottle of red wine, which was a lovely bonus! For breakfast the next day, as we had an extra child, the hotel kindly provided an additional bowl of rice noodles and a cup of soy milk, which was more than enough to fill us up. We were a bit concerned about charging the electric scooter we rented, but a couple of the hotel staff not only enthusiastically showed us where to charge it but also drove us back and forth, which was incredibly considerate. Finally, the staff recommended we visit the 'Thousand Layer Staircase' (Qianceng Tianti), enthusiastically pointing out the route. Mentioning the hotel name even saved us 20 yuan on parking/toll fees, and the attraction itself was fantastic – definitely worth the trip! Overall, highly recommended!"

Nestled beside beautiful rice fields, the views were absolutely stunning and created a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. The location was excellent, offering both tranquility and convenient access to nearby attractions. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making every guest feel welcome. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. The food was another highlight, with delicious meals prepared from high-quality ingredients and a great variety of options to choose from. Every meal was enjoyable and beautifully presented. I was especially impressed by the thoughtful amenities provided throughout the resort. From the small details in the room to the carefully designed guest experiences, everything reflected a commitment to comfort and luxury. Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations. With its breathtaking rice field views, outstanding service, excellent dining, and thoughtful touches, it is a place I would gladly return to and highly recommend to others seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway."

The hotel was very clean and new, and the butler service was excellent—prompt and attentive! 👍 The food was delicious, and there was welcome fruit upon check-in, afternoon tea, and a sweet dessert soup after dinner. The decor was arguably the most aesthetically pleasing among guesthouses in the scenic area, and the common areas even had a swimming pool, bar, and tea table. Most importantly, the view from the room was superb, overlooking the entire terraced fields and village—you didn't even need to go to the viewing platform! Attached are some photos of the hotel that look amazing, even just casual snapshots. I'll definitely stay here again! 👏"

"We were so lucky that we've got upgraded to a family suite with amazing view over the mountain and it's surrounding. Our room are very clean and beautifully decorated. The location of the guest house to see the rice terrace is so amazing despite having walked up the hill for 10 minutes. The host also helped us with our luggages with a roped trolley. Our luggages got there before us! The host couple are so friendly and helpful, they went over and above to try to accommodate my fussy eater teenage boy! They showed great hospitality and make our stay felt so relaxed and pleasant. If we come back to Guilin, we will definitely return to this guest house and will stay a few more nights."

"Our stay during this Longji trip was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is superb, offering picturesque terraced fields right outside the window. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – every photo you take looks like it's from a magazine. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly; she gave us a detailed introduction to local activities during check-in and thoughtfully recommended some local delicacies. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. The service was also very attentive, always ready to help. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Longji. Highly recommended!"

"Oops, I should have written the wrong note, it should be a review! Well, I also want to praise myself for finding a good room with a 270-degree view of the terraced field! It's worth the ticket price And the driver picked up and dropped off in time. The slope to the inn was thrilling, but the driving skills were really amazing, I really admire it! You can eat downstairs, and then we went to the Dragon and Tiger Observation Deck to watch the sunset in the evening As soon as the room window was opened in the morning, you can see the sunrise, so it's also quite close to the Seven Star Observation Deck to watch the sunrise early in the morning The views are all the same! Satisfied! It's worth it. I deleted the photos after sharing them in several places. I didn't save them here. It's a bit of a pity! Sorry! "It can be said to be a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience. The facilities in the room were rudimentary and the mattress was very thin. It felt shaky even when lying on the bed. Several friends and I didn't have a good rest at night and it was very cold. The front desk staff is not professional enough, they are like temporary workers and they are very busy. Breakfast was too simple. When I went to have breakfast at 9 o'clock, there were already leftovers and almost nothing. If you want an extra bottle of mineral water to take your medicine, you have to buy it again, which is not a service like this in other hotels."

A special mention goes to the hotel's kitchen, which is spotlessly clean and hygienic, giving you complete peace of mind. It's also just a 10-minute drive to the No. 1 observation deck, Xishan Shaole."

There is also a washing machine with drying function, which solves all problems for us who stay for several days! Overall, it is very comfortable and I like it very much. I will come again next time"

"This B&B, recommended by a friend, is absolutely amazing. The room is clean and hygienic, and the balcony offers a 270-degree view of most of the rice terraces. Observation Deck 2 is nearby, a 5-minute walk away! The hostess is young, pretty, and friendly, and the food is delicious and perfect for eating! Highly recommended!"

"Facilities: Although this hotel is newly opened, the bedding still has a slightly damp and musty smell. I booked a suite and wanted to make a cup of tea, but I was charged extra for two bottles of water, which cost 5 yuan per bottle of mineral water. The front desk was non-existent, and there were relatively few hot spring pools. For the same price of 700 to 800 yuan per night, you could have better service, but it was a waste of a good environment. The breakfast was also eye-opening. It was the same as the group meals we eat when traveling, and the price was still 68 yuan per person. We could only eat rice noodles, corn, sweet potatoes, fried rice, and the stir-fried dishes didn't even look appetizing. If you really want to go to the hot springs, it is recommended to stay in a homestay."

"Had an incredible stay at this guesthouse! Nice, clean, and very spacious guesthouse run by a very sweet local family. I would highly recommend paying the upgrade to the terrace room, as the view from the terrace (and swinging chair) were so worth it! The room and bathroom were large, and contained full amenities (water bottles, disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and soap and shampoo.) The food at the guesthouse was delicious, with large portion sizes. I appreciated that the prices were normal and on par with the rest of China, and not extortionate like some other guesthouses. The family was also extremely helpful, and helped book my bus ticket, and get in contact with my next hotel when I couldn’t figure out how to reach them. Overall, I highly, highly recommend and would’ve stayed longer if I could!"

"Highly recommend this guesthouse! You definitely won't regret staying here when you visit Dazhai Jinkeng Rice Terraces!! The car can drive directly to the hotel entrance, so you don't have to drag your luggage up, which is a huge plus! The entire design is natural wood, and the room facilities and toiletries are incredibly thoughtful, down to the smallest detail!! The indoor wooden floors are so clean you can roll around barefoot, making you feel right at home!!! It's perfect for families with kids. Plus, it has such great style! The kids loved catching fish in the rice paddies and the swing on the terrace. The hotel's views and location are superb! The spicy chicken was delicious, and the glutinous rice wine was excellent; the kids loved it!! The housekeeper was very attentive. We'll definitely be back next time! 👍👍👍"
