The hotel is not too far from both Observation Deck 1 and 2. The Thousand-Layered Ladder Observation Deck is about a 10-minute walk, and the Xishan Shaolan Observation Deck is about 20 minutes. The room overlooks the rice terraces, and sipping tea on the balcony, listening to the raindrops outside the window, allows you to experience the tranquility and beauty of rural life. You don't have to take the cable car, so you avoid the tourist crowds at Golden Buddha Peak.
