Good location, two stops from the Avenue of Stars, 3 stops from Universal Studios. If you don't drive, you can take the subway. One way is 1.75 knives. The accommodation gave us the top room this time, so I felt that the sound insulation was not bad. The key is to park for free, and the price is high. When you check out, the key can be placed directly in the room. Breakfast is eaten in a store separated by two facades. Self-service, things are simple but enough to eat.

Staff were fantastic. Room was dated but good for the price. Pool is fantastic!! Always places to sit and relax, water is clean and great facilities. Only disappointing thing was the wifi, it worked well for the first two days, then dropped out entirely. On the odd occasion we were able to use it (by the pool or at the front near reception) it would disconnect every 15 seconds. Couldn’t use it at all in our room for the last two days which was disappointing as our phones use a different network so wifi was our only option to be able to communicate etc. staff tried to assist but nothing worked. Starbucks almost directly across the street (free wifi) and a Ralph’s for groceries etc. short cab ride or Uber to the main part of the boulevard ($11ish) and about $20 to Universal studios. Great little place, will definitely stay again!

After a NIGHTMARE situation at the La Casa Del Rey in Los Angeles we ended up here at around 11pm after driving directly from Disneyland and dealing with the situation at the place we booked prior to our trip from Texas. The staff were all very friendly and very accommodating. The area outside was clean and well lit. It was very quiet and we felt safe even on the weekend. We were so grateful to find this place in such an emergency situation. They saved the last 3 days of our vacation!! Thank you Hollywood City Inn!! Also-pics are actual representation of property.

The location of the hotel is also not far from the subway station, a five-minute walk, but it is strongly recommended not to take the subway, there are homeless people everywhere, the whole body is dirty and smelly, and it feels very unsafe. The entrance gates of the subway station were vandalized, and many people entered the station without buying a ticket. The hotel is located in the Hollywood district, not far from the Universal Studios, the Chinese Theater, the Mount Hollywood sign and other attractions, and the transportation is convenient. There is a big Target supermarket nearby, Ralph next to the subway station, and a Thai noodle shop. The taste is very authentic. In addition, there is a Japanese-style grocery store, which is cheap and good. The surrounding environment of the hotel is average, there are often homeless people sleeping on the street, and there is trash on the ground. The hotel does not include breakfast, but you can borrow a microwave oven to clean the room every three days. There is heating in the room, so it is more comfortable to open in winter night. The room size is relatively small, with a small refrigerator, coffee machine, hair dryer, no toothbrushes, slippers, etc. The bathroom and floor and wall seem to have been renovated, and look relatively new. Only one elevator can be used by swiping the room card.

Stayed here to go to a show at the Greek Theatre. Room smelled and looked clean enough, but there were stains on the bedding, and we only had a sheet and not a blanket. By the time I realized it I was laying down to sleep and was too tired to call the front desk and ask for one. Free parking was a bonus. The fridge was nice and cold, but there aren't ice machines at the hotel. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. There is road noise ALL NIGHT LONG. AJ, who was working the front desk, was very nice and helpful. Overall, for the price and the reason we were there, it worked!
