We had a very good experience here. The front desk staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. There is free coffee, tea in the lobby. The only thing I didn't like is that the hotel charges 150 $ deposit at check in (average in Glendale/ Los Angeles is $ 100). Another thing is.. the parking costs an additional 10 $ per day. Can't this just be included in the room rate? Auxillary cost makes the world go round. Despite this I would stay again.

An American breakfast is nothing more than coffee, bread, oatmeal. The better ones will have a variety of fruits, usually bananas and oranges, almost no fruit at all. I remember there are several kinds of fruits cut into small pieces for self-picking, there are oatmeal, ham, and fried potato pieces, there is parking lot! There are pizzerias and fast food restaurants like McDonald's right out!

Attended a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Parked at the L.A Zoo which is close to the Glendale. Hotel. Booked the room based on the good reviews i had read. We were very impressed. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. (Wish i remember his name) our Queen room had a Jacuzzi tub. Parking was easy and safe, bed was comfy and room was very clean. Will stay there again when attending the bowl.

It’s an ordinary motel, there’s no hair dryer, the environment is general, and the location is very biased. It’s very noisy when it’s close to the Western Academy and close to the road. If it’s not cheap or come to a friend, don’t choose it.

This little motel-turned-into-a-gem surprised us. To be honest, when we initially drove by, we almost decided to forfeit our night's reservation and just try to find somewhere else to stay. We used to live in Los Angeles and were dismayed to realize that I had made a reservation at...THAT place. But the current management has worked wonders. Everything is clean, updated and as beautiful as possible with lots of delightful and unexpected design details. There was a complete mural on the ceiling of our room--lovely. Outside, at the edge of what is just a concrete parking area, the managers have carved out a little space of serenity with greenery and a lovely park bench. All the extra little touches have turned an older and potentially tired property into a place with class and beauty. We'll be back when we visit LA again.
