Good place to stay for short trips to Madrid, we will probably book again at the property in the future, perhaps with breakfast and late check out for a change. We loved the enviroment and atmosphere. Beds where confy, but if you have big luggage it may be an issue Lockers available as well.

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

We stayed at the Hotel Opera recently for the second time, to celebrate a special Wedding Anniversary. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located, right next to the Opera House and close to all the attractions of central Madrid. We had nothing but excellent service from the staff throughout our whole stay - they are very responsive and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need including a few little extras like a comb and shoeshine. Breakfast was excellent every morning, a great choice of English-style and continental offerings, The Spanish tortilla and home-made fruit tarts are particularly recommended. You need to book breakfast at a specific time, and this avoids the ”scrum” that some previous reviewers have described. Just two things prevent me giving a 5-star review. First of all it is some time since the hotel was refurbished so some of the fittings are starting to look a little tired. Secondly the cafe has changed since we were last there, it used to be possible to get tapas-style snacks from a counter display 24/7, now it is table service with hot food only available when the kitchen is open - in the evening it starts serving at 8pm which is a little late for us, so if you feel the same you need to go out to one of the many good tapas bars around. But overall we love this hotel and will certainly revisit!

For 1 night stay, its all good, room is super clean. Pillows are not so comfy, unless you request for extra pillows and double bed is just nice for an Asian size couples like us. Not suitable for bigger build bodies. Location is not that centralized and its quiet at night as it is an ofc area, but we managed to try both Taxi/metro for dinner, abt 10-12mins ride. We also went to Madrid Stadium using the metro, a more convenient way.

Really good location, clean place. Convenient to move around, restaurants and shops really close. I never stayed in hostels before but kinda liked it.

The location of the hotel is very good, and there are a lot of open-air restaurants and shopping places. But the hotel has a certain room type that can accommodate three people. Whether the couple carries a child or the parents carries two children, the front desk strictly implements the rules for two people. You need to add money to another room type with a sofa bed to accommodate three people. This information hotel did not provide at all when booking with Ctrip.

For the price paid it's just fine. Hostel located in the center of Madrid, excellent location. Small room and ensuite bathroom. Almost no cleanliness and a hole in the wall that let the cold in from outside. Fortunately, the climate was mild otherwise it was freezing considering that the radiators were not working. Hosts speak only Spanish but helpful.

Out of the subway station, walk to the hostel in one minute, the traffic is very convenient, there is no breakfast, there is a bar opposite the hostel, you can have breakfast. We chose this hotel for it's central location and for what we thought was good value for money. We were not disappointed, in fact it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were met by friendly yet not overbearing staff. Check in was efficient ant the special requests i had asked for were delivered without any problem and with discretion. The rooms were absolutely amazing, we had two superior rooms and i can honestly say they were the nicest rooms i have ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, well stocked and the comfiest bed ever. We ate in the cafeteria restaurant on the first night as we were tired from travelling, they do a 15 Euro menu which consists of three courses, bread and a drink (wine, beer or soft drink) which was of great quality and value for money, we enjoyed it so much we ate there the following two nights of our stay too. Break fast was of an equally high standard with a huge choice of both hot and cold offerings. The one thing that came across in this hotel was the staff, the were the most friendly and helpful i have cane across, nothing was too much trouble. I will only stay here when in Madrid in the future. Well done Liabeny.

Stayed one full week in Madrid and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel was recently opened and had a special musical touch to it, located right in the center of Madrid by Plaza Mayor and Sol. Rooms are well appointed spacious, and quality amenities ,beautiful rooftop terrace and even though the hotel has a theatre/concert venue you will not hear much! Many artists usually perform at the famous theater venue in the lobby which adds a fun vibe to the experience . However I really need to highlight the staff especially Maria Garcia one of the managers a true professional and did all she can for me to enjoy this experience, always there to help and assist making sure my experience is top notch. Tania the guest experience manager was extraordinary, knew all the answers to my questions and recommend great restaurants, found the perfect transfers to take me to the football stadium, and more. She is a superstar Also wanted to mention Alvaro front office manager, always smiling and accommodating! Bravo!
