I spent 5 nights at this hotel along with a number of other folks on an English Language Immersion Programme. The location is great, right in the heart of a traditional Spanish town. Plenty of small bars in the area to take a coffee or a beer and just watch the world go by! The hotel is quite deceptive from the outside, it’s tucked away in the corner of the square but once inside it seems to go on forever and it has some really interesting features with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. It also has a couple of lovely courtyards – one to the front of the hotel and the other in the middle of the hotel. There is also a roof terrace for a spot of sunbathing. The staff were really great and looked after us exceptionally well considering the hotel was so busy with weddings etc. The room was a good size, and the bed was super comfy, I slept pretty well, a great shower too. I was lucky enough to have some free time and was able to use the spa, it’s quite small but a great place to chill out and relax. The food and wine were superb and plentiful! As the hotel is situated in the olive growing region it’s worth a visit to the local olive oil processing plant where they produce Dehesa de Velascos (which can be bought in the hotel).
