Galileo Hotel

Location: Super convenient! It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, which has lines 1 and 4. The cathedral is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, and there aren't many power outlets in the room. The Wi-Fi wasn't great. However, the room was quite spacious and had a balcony, and it was very quiet at night. The free coffee and tea in the lobby were a nice touch. Breakfast: Quite a good spread, with lots of fruit. The ricotta cheese and ham were delicious. Highly recommended!

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is superb. It's a 10-minute walk to the cathedral, and there's a bustling shopping street right next door. The hotel has a vintage feel, but everything is well-maintained and done nicely.

1. The room's ceiling had mold, and the air conditioning temperature couldn't be adjusted, making it very hot at night. The hairdryer was useless, unable to dry hair. Despite being booked for three people, only one blanket was provided, and the spring bed squeaked loudly. 2. The staff called to say we couldn't do laundry. The next morning, while we were still in the room, they used their master key to enter without permission to inspect. We were shocked and surprised when they walked in. This is completely unacceptable and would not be allowed in any reputable hotel. 3. The hotel breakfast was unremarkable, with limited food options. Given these conditions, paying over 1400 RMB per night makes the value for money extremely low.

For someone like me who loves to shop but isn't great at English, this hotel is the best choice. The breakfast was delicious, especially the muffins with maple syrup. And the tiramisu was outstanding!
