On trip.com I booked a non smoking room. But when we arrived we found out that all of their rooms allow smoking. The whole hotel smells like smoke. I booked this hotel even though it is more expensive than others because I specifically wanted a nonsmoking room. 😩The bathroom had mold, the shower overflows and the bed is hard. We asked for the bathroom to be cleaned and the cleaning lady just folded our towels. The bathroom was left unclean and she didn’t provide toilet paper. The hotel is rundown. The hallways and room floors are dilapidated. The pictures on the app are not accurate. They were probably taken when the hotel was opened for the first time. I gave it a 3 because the ladies at the front desk were very nice and the breakfast was decent.

So we decided to cancel and change to a hotel in Mile. We happened to catch this hotel on special offer and booked it. This price is really cheap, and the store also upgraded the room. You need to pay a deposit of 200 yuan to stay in the hotel, which will be refunded when you leave. We traveled around southeast Yunnan, and this was the only one that required a deposit. The room was very clean, but the sound insulation was not good. You could hear the neighbors taking a shower, making phone calls, and visiting in the middle of the night.
