Sonder the Elliston

The Elliston was just as pictured and very comfortable. My family and I were coming in on a red eye from Seattle and my wife was concerned that she was going to be too tired so we needed a place to stay after we arrived for the morning and the evening. I had thought about getting a hotel close to the airport but found the Sonder group online. After looking at the different properties and the prices we decided to stay at the Elliston. I was concerned that booking the space for the previous day and showing up later in the early morning they might think that I was a no show. I reached out in the chat and spoke with someone who assured me that we would be fine to check in at whatever time we arrived. Once we landed all the info to check in with the necessary codes to access the building and the space were easily found on the app. We were able to park out front and everyone took a nap in the morning and woke up rested after a night of flying. We then were close to downtown and we were able to enjoy an evening in Music City. I have previously stayed in places like the Sonder properties where they advertise a nice place but switch you into a different space once you arrive but this was not the case with Sonder and the Elliston Place property. All in all the experience was a pleasant one, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look for other Sonder properties when we travel!

Only thing that was disappointed about was that there was no recycling at the place. Love the ability to walk to most places like restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, clothing stores and close to bus stop. Taxis were easy to find and get a hold of. Just would like to see a recycling bin. Love the area and the fact there was a Dunkin' Donuts across the street. Love the fact Martin's BBQ was just down the street. It was very easy to get around and people in the area very friendly. Love Nashville Tennessee and love the area a whole lot. Nice place and would recommend. Just wish there was recycling around!

The beds were hard like very hard. The shower had absolutely no water pressure. The house has extremely thin walls and so the noise from the other units is very loud. This is a first floor apartment. The biggest issue I had was that the tv was not working so I called for assistance. They said they would send someone within 12 hours and asked if it was ok for someone to come in while we were out and I said no. Then they CAME IN ANYWAY!!! I spoke to a Sonder rep who apologized but it didn’t change the fact that they entered after I explicitly asked them not to

It was a cool place and clean but it could use a coat of paint. The heat didn’t work so well, investigating on the last day I found the filter blocked with dirt. Also, we were in apt number 1 on the first floor and found most of the windows unlocked. Yikes

This is a great property that is walkable to downtown! Lots a great restaurants. The apartment is older with that older charm like hardwood floors and there is lots of room!

Lots of space and a great location! It’s in good proximity to downtown. I also loved the kitchen. My only complaint was that there was no mirror in the bathroom. Thankfully there were mirrors in the bedrooms.

The apartment was very clean and conveniently located near Centennial hospital. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Refrigerator and kitchen were spotless. Amenities were plenty. Housekeeping does a terrific job. This house is a home away from home and near the hospitals! We had a lovely stay, and thank you kindly.

First time in Nashville and we didn't want to stay at a steel and glass tower. This place fit the bill. Really liked wood floors, interesting decor, full kitchen and great beds. On street parking and just a short Uber ride from everything.

It was clean and had the best vibe. It was a great area and close to our family. 10 outta 10 will stay again! The keypad to get in was a bit temperamental, but a little patience and it was a go! Dunkin’ Donuts across the street didn’t hurt! Could have used mire than two wash cloths (we have a family of five).
