Very comfortable 'boutique' hotel set in an older large house. Easy walking to so many amenities in Nelson.

Great hotel - central location. Lovely Views. Lovely Room. Accommodating staff. Only downsides is the parking situation is tight for loading/unloading and only limited parking for the hotel. Our room also had a seperate bathroom down the hall which is a slightly awkward but not a major deal.

The room provided was cozy and a nice seating area. Stayed two nights and the room was very cold during the day. No way to turn up heat. No lights on steep steps to see in the dark. Only four spots to park in back.

Perfect location for exploring downtown Nelson! The sycamore room is very spacious and I loved the little sunroom that came with it! Room came very well equipped with a mini fridge and cutting board. My only comment would be that I wished it came with better toiletries. It would be nice to see local vendors products in the space.

Two couples stayed in the Cherry Tree suite. It suited our needs perfectly. Kitchen seating was a bit tight for 4 people but workable. We really enjoyed the upper outdoor patio deck for a drink and game of cards. Lots of stairs which could be a problem for some guests. Excellent location right near a fabulous coffee shop! I have stayed here in the past and would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, clean bedsheets and washroom;
- lack of information before booking, very dated house reconstructed and partially renovated for hotel service, detached washroom (on the opposite side of the hallway, by the other room), no microwave (specified in the order but there is in the common hallway only) no table in the room, noisy AC, unpleasant view, many uncomfortable and unsafe stairs, small bathrobes, not enough parking lots for all guests, bottle from the previous visitors under armchair;
Very disappointed, left before the time
