"I had a double room which was spacious, super clean linen on the bed, the towels were soft and fresh and room was clean and warm, well lit. Excellent sparkling clean kitchens and bathrooms. I’ve stayed there several times before and enjoy how friendly and welcoming Royce, Linda and the rest of the staff are. Reasonably priced also and it’s a great location right downtown close to supermarket, shops, bus station, restaurants, cinema."

"We stayed here on our way home from the South Island. The owner - Cobber was a lovely man and supplied us with a heater after we told him the heating in our unit wasnt working. The fan heater was not great but we werent too worried as we werent there long. The worst part of our stay was that the motel is in a suburban street and right across the road were 2 dogs behind a high gate. The dogs barked constantly at every single thing that moved or walked past their property. They were large and loud and acted like guard dogs, and it really was extremely annoying. This older motel is very typical of the dated tired motels that could really do with a modern makeover. Price was $170/night."

"Arrived late at night, the kind landlady patiently waited and guided warmly, the room was very clean, the kitchen utensils, tableware, coffee pots and other arrangements were well arranged, the facilities were all available, the bathroom was spacious and bright, and the five-star praise!"

"We booked a 2 room cabin, the place was quiet that was nice but the place wasn't clean a dirty oven try left in the oven! Plates with crumbs on them! The bathroom fan didn't work so the cabin was super super damp, no soaps or shampoo dispensers were all empty! The bathroom and toilet door didn't close properly or quietly. The main bedroom must have a leak somewhere it rained on the last day and the carpet in the morning was super wet along the window. Couches were uncomfortable feels like it pushes you head forward and the TV had no Internet connection to watch Netflix like advertised. The place is very run down and needs a really really good clean! The accommodation was close to town and quiet. I wouldn't recommend this place spend an extra $100 and stay somewhere else"

It had all the little details in the room like fresh water and hot drink facilities with a dressing to wear and a bamboo toothbrush to use and take with you incase yo have forgotten yours. A full range of healthy options for breakfast and hot drinks. It was a lovely night away. Peaceful and relaxing. The host Joya was lovely to talk to and very welcoming, thankyou."

"The room was clean and tidy, with a good outdoor view, comfortable room, good location, and a small outdoor swimming pool. The service was also warm and thoughtful. The only drawback was that it was under the flight path, and there would be noise when the planes flew over, but there were not many planes in Nelson, so the impact was not too great."
