1. The location is close to Fisherman’s Wharf, Huwei Fort, and Sharon Light Rail Station, and slightly away from the lively, crowded and narrow Tamsui Old Street. The red 26 bus runs every three minutes, and it can be combined with a one-day light rail ticket of 50 yuan, which provides unlimited travel. Great value.
2. The hotel building is located in a residential area. There are affordable supermarkets such as Carrefour and Quanlian, as well as many affordable gourmet restaurants and coffee shops, as well as Thai massage and hot pot. The real life of local residents is not the price of tourists. Great.
3. Stay in the blue sky room for two people with a bathtub. The transparent glass of the bathtub allows you to take a bath and watch TV at the same time. The remote control is also available! It is equipped with a high floor and a quiet side room. It has great lighting from both sides during the day. The small tea table next to the window is A good place to write in a daze, and the desk is also great. Breakfast is also delicious and varied. The pillows and bed are moderately soft and comfortable.
4. Each floor uses the opening of Tamsui Port ~ the history of Tamsui in Mackay's Diary as the installation design theme, which is very design-conscious. The hotel will provide ”dream beast postcards”. After writing the dream beast doll, put it at the door. One year later, travelers will receive it and see themselves a year ago. It's awesome. Consistent Chengyi Cultural Tourism design style.
5. The fastest way to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the cultural tour. I will definitely come again. It is recommended that hotels add hand-drawn travel maps and other related information.

We stayed five nights here. The room was awesome - it was a studio apartment really, with considerate touches like a cubby seat where shoes are kept, equipped with a handlebar for those who need support to get up from a seated position. There's a tatami room with a platform floor where there was space and more for our teenaged daughter. You get a choice of normal water or hotspring in the bathtub. I found the hotspring water so healing. I injured my knee some months ago and it still ******d with pain from time to time. The knee was fine after the hotsping soaks. We had dinner at the restaurant on our first night, having just flown in. The food was great! We were the last patrons. The friendly chef even came out to chat with us! Breakfast is sent in stacks of bento boxes to the room. There's a choice of western or oriental. Whichever the choice, there was too much delicious food. We asked them to reduce the selection by one or two items. Staff were helpful and friendly. One of them saw me struggling to communicate in Chinese and quickly came up to tell me that I can speak in English with her. My daughter wanted to buy a box of their cookies on our last night there but the restaurant was just about to close and they didn't have ready stock. Nonetheless, they prepared our cookies and delivered them to our room within half and hour. The cookies were scrumptious! Do try them! They come packed in an elegant wooden box too. Location-wise, the hotel is near the beautiful Tamsui area. It takes longer to get into the Taipei city area - where the shopping and cultural district is - but it is convenient by LRT. A big thank you to all the lovely staff of this wonderful hotel!!

A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard.
The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth.
The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters.
Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

The hotel has a very design style. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are attracted by the central sofa and the scenery outside the window. The overall space and the light aroma give people a very relaxing feeling.
The room is large and the bed is also extra large. The room also has its own bathtub, where you can take a bath at any time. What needs to be improved is that there is no place for plugging in or charging at the bedside.
The hotel also has public baths, with separate bathing areas for men and women, each with 4-5 pools.
Breakfast is simple Chinese or Western style, with a small amount of bread, fruits and drinks, etc. It is generally delicious. For a beautifully designed hotel, there is still a lot of room for improvement in this area.
Overall, the staff service is very good. The location is a 15-minute walk from the old street. There are few shops nearby, including a convenience store and 2-3 small restaurants. One of them next door has good food.
If I have a chance to come again, I will book this room again.

You have to get out of the car and walk for about 10 minutes, and there are some stairs, so I had to carry my bag.
The rooms were relatively clean and since we booked 3 rooms for 6 people, we had the entire house to ourselves.
It was available exclusively.
It was convenient as Jiufen Street was not that far away.
However, when making a reservation, it was stated that breakfast would be provided for a fee.
In fact, I received a response that it was not provided due to COVID-19.
During my 9-day trip, this was the only hotel that did not provide breakfast due to COVID-19.
Thanks to that, I went to the convenience store at the end of Jiufen Shopping Mall and bought cup ramen for breakfast.
Anyway, I had a pleasant trip very close to Jiufen Street.

I am grateful to have stayed in this B&B. I have experienced that ********* people run the B&B with care. The friendly attitude of the host family gives the guests a feeling of home.
The room is very clean, the bedding is comfortable, the homemade soy milk for breakfast is delicious and the bread is delicious.
Next time I will come back and stay for a few days to experience Jiufen Mountain City!

Outstanding
GGuest UserBefore searching for nine on the Internet to stay at the hotel, I felt that Jinman Hall was quite attractive to me. Although the price was indeed high, it felt quite worth it after I checked in! We stayed in a deluxe family room with mountain view on the day. The interior furnishings are completely in line with the display on the website. There will be no actual discrepancies with the photos. The quality of the bathroom and other spare parts is very good. It is not the kind that is more common in ordinary hotels or homestays. The environment is very quiet. Walking around can also enjoy a good view, the reception staff is very kind, breakfast is very special nine palace dishes, there are simple toast, really different from the buffet bar of the general hotel, if you want to have a different accommodation experience, Jinman Club is definitely a homestay choice that can be considered!
GGuest UserWe chose to stay at ”Just Sleep Taipei Sanchong” for this 3-day trip to the north. The main reason is because of its geographical advantage. It can be reached in 3 minutes by getting off the Sanchong Interchange. The main entrance of the hotel is Sanhe Junior High MRT Station. , plus the hotel itself has a parking lot, so when we arrive in Taipei, we don’t have to drive or take the MRT and can just hang out everywhere! It’s so convenient to be connected in all directions! The industrial-style design of the lobby when you enter is very special. The tables and chairs are all left over from the former wood factory and renovated. It is a very story-telling hotel that is worth savoring! When checking in, the receptionist kindly introduced the hotel's facilities and nearby local snacks and Sanhe night market delicacies. They also unexpectedly gave us small toys for my brother and sister. There was also coffee, tea and snacks for us in the lobby while we were waiting. The space is very spacious and comfortable, which is one of the reasons why we chose Sanchongkan! I stayed in a family room for 3 days and 2 nights. The size of the 2 large and 2 small beds (6y8y) was just right. It was similar to the size of an ordinary bed. It was not too hard to sleep on. The pillows and mattresses were all from Jinghua Hotel. The brands used, the floors and the room furnishings are all full of ingenuity. Especially the 4 Miekan unique tool cups hanging on the wall are really cute, so I bought 2 sets to take home when I checked out. Collect and send to friends, highly recommended! Next comes the breakfast part. Many people on the Internet recommended that the breakfast in Sanchongkan is delicious and has a high CP value. The breakfast for our 2-day stay this time was a big surprise for us. The meals were sufficient, fresh and varied for both days. Different dishes, even one of the things on the pocket list that I originally wanted to eat (Jiangji Longmen Stir-fried Duck Soup) was actually presented at the dining table with its original flavor, eliminating the need to queue up. It was really touching, and my favorite (Sesame Oil Chicken Rice) are local specialty snacks that can satisfy both Chinese and Western styles. After asking the service staff, I learned that Sanchongkan has recently launched a ”Classic Gourmet Local Food” section, and the items will also include (Justice Soy milk), (Samsung scallion pancakes), etc... It's a pity that we can't stay a few more days to taste various snacks! Overall, we felt very unforgettable and happy about this trip! There are still many scenic spots in Taipei that I haven’t visited yet. I will still choose Sanchong Hotel for my next hotel stay. It is highly recommended!
GGuest UserOutstanding! Seemed to be heavily discounted when I booked, as it was the 2nd cheapest hotel in the area, but it was fantastic. Practicality first - only a few minutes from an MRT station. The facilities are amazing. I didn't try the actual spa area, but discovered the room had a bath as well as a shower, the shower had multiple shower head options and also doubled as a steam room. Perfect after a long run to have a private steam room, then a hot bath and finally a cool shower. Love it. The bed was massive, there was also a couch and a writing desk. Definitely the best hotel I've found in Taipei, especially at this price! Room was pretty quiet too, although as with many places the fridge was a bit noisy so I unplugged it. Also, there was a 24 hour self-service restaurant area, with cereals, breads and croissants. During the day, the cereals were replaced with crisps and at night (maybe after 10pm) there was a choice of instant noodles and a fancy cooker. Also all day there was free tea/fresh ground coffee/water/hot chocolate and also sodas on tap, along with packaged sweets and nibbles. The area was very nice and I spent a while relaxing here with a hot chocolate on the way back every day. Definitely would stay here again.
PPBBA cute and nice bed-and-breakfast with multiple locations located in Jiufen. It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you CONTACT the HOTEL BEFORE ARRIVAL as the bed-and-breakfast has multiple locations and it’s hard to find them without proper direction. The streets of this town are very windy as it’s on a mountain so it’s even hard for taxi drivers to find hotel locations.
After I contacted the hotel, they were able to pick me up from a random spot that I got lost and direct me to my room. The room was very nice, very big, clean and located very close to the old street about a five minute walk up some stairs and also very close to family mart and 7-Eleven for all your needs.
Only thing is I would like if the hotel could provide more towels, hand towels, face towels would be nice. They only provided two full body towels, but other than that great place highly recommended because of its convenience in the area and the friendliness of their staff who also spoke English. 😊 they also provided a nice breakfast that was delivered to your room whenever you wanted in the morning.
They are also super great at providing a map of the town and giving you all the tips for your stay and telling you where to eat and the hours of these places.
KKenix NganI recently stayed and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is ideal, situated in the heart of Jiufen, making it convenient to explore popular attractions, etc.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and they provided excellent recommendations for local activities.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with modern decor and a relaxing ambiance. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and high-speed internet.
Overall, my stay is exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here and looking for a blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.
PPailinThe hotel is very clean and modern. The service is very good. The view is also nice. There have a service onsen on the 17th floor which is very convenient and clean. The location is a little bit far from the Metro take about 10 min to walk but they also have a bus stop in front of the hotel
GGuest UserHard to find : we found the hotel after a few time. The location on Google Maps and Apple Plan were not exactly the same + the place don’t look exactly the same as on internet.
Service : we received a call bc the householder was having some personal issues (alright, that’s life). But we called the number, and it was difficult to reach someone + someone were in the hostel but no answer until the same person decided to scream something we didn’t understood.
Cleaning : it was clean ! But a smell of humidity.
Amenities : we were very happy, necessary things were available. BUT sleepers are not personal (maybe used by all the customers even if maybe cleaned), the breakfast is not homemade, it’s delivered (and it’s actually good !).
We enjoyed the place, even if it’s pretty far by foot, and difficult because of the several stairs. Jiufen is actually on a mountain, but it can be difficult for people with disabilities.
We were very happy, even we arrived pretty late, and the famous Old Street was closed when we finished to settle.
GGuest UserThe location is very close to Fuzhong MRT Station, about 5 minutes' walk
The neighborhood is very lively, so you don’t have to go far to find food at night.
I have stayed in many hotels with shared bathrooms and single beds.
I feel that the counter staff of this store are very serious about management and explain very carefully.
Well maintained
Highly recommended for girls traveling alone and looking for a safe and clean bed for a short period of time in a hotel.
They also provide limited-edition late-night snacks, which is great
MMJ98Cleanliness - 4/5. The room was clean. What I saw from a few other reviews about this hotel that rated it low for cleanliness was in regards to complaints about the maintenance of the room. Yes, there were some areas of the room that required attention, like re-grouting the bathroom or fixing some wall paper and paint on the walls. However, these things do not make the room dirty. There were no dirty marks and there was no dust in the room. The eating could be 5/5 if those aesthetic issues were fixed but I believe the complaints of other guests about the room to be unwarranted.
Location - The location is excellent, only a short walk to the old street and the view from the property speaks for itself.
Service - The owner was very friendly and explained everything to us clearly. He provided us with a tour of the museum and he was very knowledgeable. He helped us with everything we needed, such as providinh us with an additional towel.
Amenities - There is a water fountain for both hot and cold water for use by all guests. In the room there are some tea bags and cups too. The hotel also provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste.
QQueenThe service staff at the hotel who checked in were very welcoming and told us the location of the room. Later we went out to eat. When we came back, the waiter told us that there was no parking space. He was also very considerate and helped us prepare a parking space for us to park. It was really a very considerate service.
