Room was large in Japan hotels. Around 2mins walking distance from subway station. The hotel is located on the upper floors of a building while the lower floors are shopping malls. There are other shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurants around. On the other hand, some garbage (used plastic bags) from previous tenants was found inside the room. Although the location was quite hidden and did not affect the stay, but the housekeeping should do better.
This hotel is the closest to Universal Studios, just a few minutes' walk to the ticket gates, and offers full views of Universal Studios from the rooms. It's incredibly convenient to get to: you can take the subway from the airport, transfer once, and the hotel is just tens of meters from the exit. For Japan, the rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom is sparkling clean with a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is luxuriously decorated with some futuristic, high-tech elements. Right outside the hotel is the Universal Citywalk, packed with eateries and Universal-themed shops. The food on Citywalk is all pretty good; the Gekko-ryu takoyaki is better than the other place, and the fried wagyu was also delicious. The subway from the airport gets you right to the hotel's doorstep with just one transfer, making transportation extremely convenient.

The hotel was decent, and the room size was acceptable. We booked a triple room for 2 adults and 1 child, and the price was reasonable.
The location is excellent, right in Umeda Higashi-dori. Downstairs, there are tons of places to eat, including an Ichiran Ramen. For breakfast, you can choose the buffet on the first floor, which looked pretty good. We opted for Doutor next door instead; we always grab sandwiches from there whenever we visit Japan.

We spontaneously decided to visit Osaka with my parents, and this hotel, booked at the last minute, had a decent price. It's conveniently located near a subway station and within walking distance of Shinsaibashi, a bustling area of Osaka. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. The size wasn't small either; it didn't feel cramped with three of us staying there. For breakfast, I recommend going early as there's a queue if you go later. The variety was rich, and everything tasted good. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.
