(Translated by Google) 8-9/08/24: A lot of noise all night from wind in the attic above us. Initially we thought this was due to the elevator, but our room 194 (nineth floor) was not affected by that. Barely able to sleep because of this. In the morning this was still going on and it turned out to be coming from the attic above us (we were able to determine for ourselves). The noise on the landing was also extreme. At the reception this was dismissed as 'you are just on the coast'. A real shame! Such a hotel should be completely in order, including the insulation in the attic. Room furnishings and mattress were ok. My partner was allergic to the bedding. Had to sleep under a duvet which was too warm. There was no sheet so I had to sleep naked or under a warm duvet. The TV was way too big and hung too high. The bath was a disaster: a large glass wall making the opening to get into the bath much too narrow. Also dangerous because boarding must be done on the curved side wall of the pool, which also poses a risk of slipping. Taking a bath was not possible because the glass wall that rests on the bath edge makes it impossible to grab the edge and push yourself up. There was no bar. To get out of the bath we had to use the door handle as the only support possible! So definitely not recommended for older people, people with difficulty walking, heavier people or the disabled! Since we don't have a bath ourselves, we were looking forward to using it here, but this turned out to be a zero operation. At breakfast it appears that the cheap option was chosen for many things: no jam but a kind of pale fruit compote, 'fruit juices' diluted with water, yoghurt not tasty, industrial sandwiches, rolls, bread, etc., eggs not cooked as they should be. The breakfast level is inferior to such hotel. Normally I would have given this a 4, but given the sleepless night caused by the noise from that f*cking attic, this is the minimum. Not recommended.

The hotel doesn't allow you to leave the dogs alone in the bedroom which is stated nowhere while booking. If you don't want dogs in your hotel don't allow them. I would have chosen another place to stay if I had known this in advance. I hace never experienced this and we travel with our dogs frequently.

We stayed for 3 nights from 24th to 27th November. Check in was easy, parking was good but a space must be pre booked. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and the bar was cosy and very well priced. I would definitely stay again as the location is ideal and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was very expensive but there are cheaper options locally.

Fair to fair! Room was very warm and uncomfortable. Building was aged. Staff was just “ok”. Breakfast was pretty good though. Location is great, so that’s a positive. Most of the buildings here are aged, so this is nothing unusual. The town is beautiful though.

Been to this hotel several times over the past years. They provide consistent service. Good location. Good, friendly and efficient reception. Sometimes there's a queue for check-in (even after online check-in) and check-out (even when opted for fast check-out), as there is no separate desk for members. Nice, clean rooms. Slow elevator :-) And, also consistently (so not a one-time-off), totally overcooked scrambled eggs at breakfast. So, quite a few plusses and also a few points of attention. But I am sure I'll be back.

We stayed here for one night for a concert at the Hippodrome. It's a 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. We arrived early, so it was not possible to check in, but we were able to leave our luggage and walk around the town a bit. We came back later and were checked in and advised how to reach the room by a lift at the back - quite a compact space, so not ideal if you want to keep distance. Nevertheless, we got to our room and it was very nice - carpet a little shabby at the door and the bathroom was small considering the room itself was quite big, but the toiletries were very luxury. There was also complimentary water and glasses - a big plus for me. Paper cups are ok, but do get soggy after a while, so glasses are perfect. As a Silver member, I also took advantage of the welcome drink, but as it was busy in the evening, we were able to take our drinks up to our room. We didn't take advantage of breakfast - at 22 euros per person, this is by far the most expensive I have seen it at in the Accor chain. There are plenty of nearby cafes to eat at. We got a really nice breakfast at Cheers just across the road. It was nice to have some luxury, even if it was just for one night.

Do not stay here if you have a small child and need a cot in the room. As a couple with a 1 year old child they gave us a room which barely had floor space for a travel cot. Literally only room for our bed and the cot, no standing room whatsoever. Baby changing was a nightmare. Hardly any storage within the room either - half a single wardrobe. The bathroom was equally tiny. It was pure hell!
