This hotel is 5 stars hotel and it should be 1/2 star
Bathrooms without showers curtain. Room is very dirty and painting is not good. Mirrors Are not in good condition. The towels are in very bad condition.
People are very good and very helpful
My room phone was not working and I reported that to front desk but no body does care.

Its an old building with molds in the rooms and bathrooms. I believed it used to be a high rating hotels, considering the grand entrance etc. Rooms are spacious but the amenities are not consistent. We booked 3 rooms in total (same room type). One does not have a sofa, one does not a have the small chiller.
However the services are great with helpful receptionists and bellboys.

Like most other 'old' upper bracket hotels, Basko is in need of thorough maintenance including partial repurbushing, particularly for the plumbing. Simple needs such as shower head replacement and shower curtain were ignored. Staff are polite and friendly but rather evasive.

The cleanliness is not taken care of because the mattress pad and blanket are dirty with hair. Only 1 piece of tissue
