Hotels near Porta del Camp, Palma de Mallorca

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Claudia (on front desk) and Fasie (not sure I've spelt his name right) in the rooftop bar went out of their way to make us feel special. But, as I've said, everybody went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely experience. The breakfasts were incredible - everything imaginable that one could want and constantly replenished. The amount of choice was extraordinary and everything super fresh. The location of the hotel was perfect for both accessing the water front and being able to walk from the hotel into the centre. When we return (which we will) we shall choose a different category of room. Our room was a courtyard option which we found very dark with nowhere to sit. There were two very uncomfortable, barely functional, chairs, so even having a morning coffee in the room was not very appealing. However, the bathroom was excellent, which is so important. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We are hoping to return in May 2025.

From the lovely welcome - a chilled glass of Cava as we arrived, the wonderful staff at this great little hotel made this a perfect place to stay. The hotel is set in an old tile factory, with beautiful tiles displayed around the building and in every room. An easy stroll into the old town and on bus routes around Mallorca. I can’t remember staying in a hotel where the staff are so helpful, friendly and kind - can’t wait to go back. Gracias, sentimos que hemos hecho nuevos amigos

The hotel room was great, the staff impeccable, just the small problem that can surprise you is that we had a booking tax of €8 and a bit, except that on the site where we booked and paid for the room online, at no time did they warn us that there would be a tax (knowing that we only slept one night, the price of which is not exorbitant either) so be careful not to get ripped off, especially if you were going to stay for a long time, the taxes will surely increase...

The room size is suitable, the environment is good, the service is very nice, and the girl who takes care of the room is very patient. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with restaurants and supermarkets. It's just that the Chinese food opposite is a bit hungry. The overall feeling is good.

Short leisure trip with my sister. The location was perfect, not too far from the airport and around a slowish stroll of 20 minutes to the centre. We did use taxis on the way back, depending on how many bars we’d found ! Nice sized room, it’s modern, uncluttered and white, big tick. It was still hot, so loved a cheeky dip on the terrace and dry off in the sun. This was a hassle free holiday, perfectly placed for sightseeing and shopping.

The hotel is a bit far from the center but bus line 4 takes you there. The reception staff is super nice and friendly, they help you or provide the information you need, it's the best thing about the hotel. You can have a clothes iron by leaving a deposit of 20 e that will be returned to you on the day of departure. The rooms are quite old and smell musty mixed with humidity. It is quite cold in the bathroom as it has an open crack that leads directly to the street and cannot be closed or covered. It's a shame because the rooms have a lot of potential if they did a little renovation. The views from the terrace of the hotel are wonderful to the port.

The hotel itself is nice- clean rooms and the staff were friendly and attentive. The pool is good (although very, very deep so not for kids) and the breakfast had a decent selection. The main problem we had was the noise! We were put in a room at the front of the hotel, the noise from the main road was constant and we couldn’t really use the balcony. It also made it difficult to sleep. We were also woken up multiple times by other guests who came in at all hours drunk, shouting, singing and clattering around. So if you’re planning to stay here my advice would be into request a room at the back of the hotel and take ear plugs!

Stayed here for 7 days and writing this review just after checking out, all in all a nice hotel but with some pros and cons. Cons: - Room is a LOT smaller than advertised, with just enough room to walk around the bed. We paid for a decent room and expected what was shown on the pictures for ‘our room’ category but it was false advertisement. - Building site is noisy and an eye sore while sat around the pool. I actually knew about this before we booked but looking at the pictures from previous reviews it looked like most of the structure was up so the noisy bits were finished, I was wrong. I feel they should tell people on booking about it. - No table or chairs on balcony. We paid a lot for the room too through *********** and the pictures advertised for that room were nothing like what we booked. I called reception every single day on my 7 day holiday to ask for a chair and they promised the next day we could get one, we never got one. This would be ok if there was somewhere else to sit in the room but there is nowhere other than the bed. So we lay on the bed and played cards in the evening and didn’t use the balcony. We had a sea view too, so a shame we couldn’t sit out. - Pool bar closes at 5pm, they have a beautiful bar area with a TV, couches etc really lovely but no one sits in there in the evening because the bar is shut, and in the day everyone is sat around the pool. Bit of a shame to have such a wasted space that is so nice. - No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, didn’t have a cup of tea whole holiday. - No bottled water in room (didn’t bother me as just bought a big bottle each night from supermarket) - No iron in the room so we just wore creased clothes. - Sun loungers around the pool are really uncomfortable due to a metal bar that goes across them and dig into your back there isn’t a way around it. - Maid took one of our room key cards for some strange reason. Pros: - Staff are really lovely, the receptionist, bar lady, lifeguard (who gives you the towels everyday) all really nice friendly people who can’t do enough for you. - Room is cleaned everyday. - Excellent location! A short stroll to cala major centre where you’ll find the beach and all the restaurants/super market. - Porto Pi shopping centre is a 10-15 minute walk and is AMAZING, they have Zara, Mango, Bershka, Stradivarius and more. - Palma town centre is very close just 10 mins on the number 4 bus 2 Euro per person each way. - Fresh towels everyday, we brought them to the beach too no issues. - I have to hand it to them the shower in the room is lovely. Hot water no problem. - Breakfast is lovely, I wasn’t expecting much but it was really good. If you are British don’t be expecting full English type food (which we didn’t anyway) but they have an amazing selection of cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, cookies pastries brownies even churros. The hotel is really good, the staff is friendly and they do everything possible to make your stay pleasant. However, the room did not have a double bed but two comfortable single beds all the same. But the most annoying thing is the simple glazing and the curtains which let in light. For a four star and quite surprising but the stay still went well and the kindness of the staff really adds to a satisfactory experience, thanks to their daily work! Ps: don't hesitate to have breakfast, it's buffet style and it's really good! In addition, if you have to take the plane the next day before the buffet opens, you will be entitled to a good pic-nik prepared by them ☺️

The service and our room was fantastic. The team went above and beyond to help me surprise my partner’s birthday. However I was little disappointed with the rooftop “pool”, the picture online was very deceptive and appears to be a little bigger/ deeper but it was just a small tub to splash your toes in. But apart from that the staff was fantastic and very much aestically pleasing x
