Knights Inn Palmyra

Rang bell for service with no response. Pick from 3 phone #'s posted to call for assistance. Had to wait for the clerk to finish eating her supper to check me in.

The carpeting is old, dirty and torn. The shower curtain was stained with either blood or dark rust color. We stayed here several years ago, and it was a very good experience. Unfortunately, something has changed and it has gone down hill.

Room was clean and was equipped with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was bare minimal but at least it was offere.

Large clean parking area. Convent to area attractions.

I had two rooms side by side. The rooms were ok. One had a foul smell from the pipes but my family member didn’t want to complain and switch the room. The furniture is a little outdated. Customer service was great though. I recommend if you need to rest for a night or two but not for longer stays.

Staff was short and direct, not really personable. One keycard didn’t work, but we were only staying one night, so it didn’t matter. Room was clean, but outdated. Again, adequate, but nothing special.

It was a good stay the place was clean the pool was great for my kids the only complaint i have is there Continental breakfast was not what we expected they only gave these little muffins coffe or orange juice and yogurt other places we have been to they offered cereals, waffles, eggs, bacan, and suages

The office staff were very nice and polite. I did let them Know about a wasp nests at the pool and they took care of it right away. The only issue was I never Received new towels in my room and the office wasn’t available at night other than that. I did love the area it was convenient, very clean.. maintained. Friendly. Pool was very very cold but I enjoyed my stay. Calm and peaceful.

The property wasn’t bad. The pool had bugs on the surface of the water obviously not cleaned. There was an active huge hornets nest on one of the light post at the pool that was a hazard. But the most irritating thing I encountered was the nasty woman at the desk . I arrived at 12 pm. She snapped verbally telling me the there was an extra 40 dollar early check in fee. I asked her what time was normal check in time and she again snapped at me 3 pm . I started to walk away knowing i wasn’t going to pay a fee to check in at 12 pm so I told her I would be back at 3 pm. The hotel was empty so it wasn’t like the rooms were being cleaned previous before the next set of patrons. I think really the thing that stood out most was this woman’s nastiness and poor customer handling. I will never go to this motel again and I don’t suggest anyone else does either.
