Having our wedding at Bellevue Resort was definitely the best choice! Our wedding was delayed by Covid for 3 years and there were a few staff changes and Sheila Baldo has picked up where the last events manager left off without a hitch. She was always available, polite and open to ideas. We looked around at other venue options and the beach front privacy and luxe experience Bellevue offers are incomparable. What we love most about the event was the food which was above and beyond the expectation for a buffet - it certainly tasted like fine dining, the attention to details and the execution of everything we have agreed on. My family and I have had such a great time spending our wedding and holiday/reunion in Bellevue. The daily breakfast buffet options were always exciting and cater to locals and foreigners alike. The koi pond is always a hit - you can do fish feeding, and I never tire walking past them. During our 5 day stay, they always have a quiet event at their beach front which says a lot about them being a very good choice as an events space for your important occasions. Some nights they had a live band to serenade diners at the restaurant. The staff - they are unbelievable! They were quick, accommodating, friendly and always at your service. What needs improvement on, however, was their spa and their massage therapists. We spoke to Drew, the manager, and plans to remedy this were actually on the way! I guess next time, we will have to try this out!

Let’s start from the good parts:
* The service was great, always welcome you with a smile and greeting.
* location- although it takes 15 mins to Alona beach , it was not bad or we didn’t feel a burden from it.
* soft towels , pillow, soft duvet, soft toilet paper - really good.
Now for the bad parts:
The hotel has a lot of potential to be great. But unfortunately it doesn’t do much to be like that.
* breakfast - the worst I’ve ever had. No western selection, no omelette, no cappuccino.
* pool - is great when it’s clean. Unfortunately it wasn’t clean and we complained about it and they cleaned it a day after but still , it must be maintain.
* the AC remote function is only in Chinese , don’t understand that point at all. Why it’s not in English? No user friendly.
Experience an abundance of unparalleled facilities and features at FUN HOTEL. Guests can avail parking facilities at the hotel.

Amazing place to stay the 2 girls who served me at the start. Wow the amazing service was endless.
I was VERY dishearten and DISAPPOINTED when purchasing a drink and it was BITTER my partner was made to fill like its a lie. And decided to buy a 2nd drink which was NOT drinkable.
After telling the Guy and a lady with short hair.
She walked of and he didn't care. I found this to be VERY BAD SERVICE. I was at your premises for 6 days and this left a bad taste in my mouth.
Then we checked in again and tge same guy refused to help my partner with her bags my hands where full.
My partner is coming back next year NOT sure if she will stay with you. As she felt very BE LITTLED and made to feel like she was lied and not helped.
This isnt to be negative as you have a beautiful complex and this lady with short hair and the guy personally made me ASLO feel unwelcome.
Very Good

Hernan resort was a great experience.but I was very disappointed when I saw almost all of the guests during dinner time roaming around at nearby places having dinner at McDonald’s and jollibee fast food restaurants.the resort by that time was so silent.maybe if (hennan resort)can create an atmosphere of excitement, entertainment maybe it’s not the price, it’s not lower there Standard.but to ensure that the guests will enjoy not the Swimming pool but the whole package.imagine how much it can generate sales if all the guests are enjoying there time the whole day round in the resort.

We had a very pleasant stay at Henann Alona Beach. The hotel is big, and it was very busy during checkin, however they have so many pools that you don’t notice the amount of people.
We had a great time in the poolbar at happy hour, and spent all our time at the resort! Restaurants could use a bit more healthy options and breakfast some more vegetarian (there wasn’t even a plain yoghurt or granola bar, and more unhealthy choices) options.
If you go out of the resort you directly walk into a street full of bars and restaurants! Gym was very well equipped and rooms where good. Please improve the curtains, since they were not blacking out the room.

Expensive, but worth it. Hospitality is top notch, never met so many nice people in my life, bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, and food was good. Massages were the best I’ve ever had in my life. If we ever came back to Panglao again, the ONLY reason we wouldn’t stay at Amorita again would be due to the price. Everything else was top notch.

This is potentially a great place but when I was there there was only 1/3rd water in the pool (guess for repairs or something, people were vague about it) Of course this can happen, but both hotel and Trip.com should mention this on the website.
So, you can book this hotel, but check about the pool. Also just try to rent a place next to the beach at Dumaluan for example.
The staff is friendly. But I have the feeling that the manager is a bit lazy about the place. The toaster broke and next day it still was not replaced. First world problems, I know, but still..
Wifi is good, but not 100% reliable for important online meetings. For that you can go to Loom coworking on the main island.

AAb CBeing stuck in Bohol Island due to coronavirus I had to stay at this hotel. Well it was one of my best stays in my life. The hotel is amazing full of charm. The rooms are spacious, very well decorated, modern and comfortable. A very good value for money. I recommend this place to everyone. But above all the team is incredible and did everything to help me and make me feel comfortable during this epidemic. Thank you Charm for everything you have done for me. You are an exceptional person who welcomed me as if I were part of the family and helped me to meet other people. Thank you to the boss, to the girls, to everyone. I would come back for sure. Sami
GGuest UserWhat a gem in Panglao!! 💎 A family owned boutique hotel that feels like a cozy home stay. Peaceful, artsy, clean and neat, with a very reliable wifi connection. They even serve the Yardstick coffee (for all the coffee lovers out there, this is your place). Although the owners and the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable (love you all guys ❤️), the best part is the 4 little dogs that just brighten up your day every time you pass by. The pool was also clean and well maintained, and the omelette they serve for breakfast is rich with condiments and tasty! The hotel also rents out their own motorbikes which are all in a really good condition (unlike many of those you rent in random shops or in the street). Oh, and yeah, if you read in reviews that they have really high quality bed mattresses - I am attesting to that. Unless you put your alarm on, you won’t wake up. It’s that good! If you are not a fan of big hotel chains that treat you just like a number, then look no further. Thanks for having us guys and really hope to be back soon!!
GGuest UserThis was our first stop in our trip to the Philippines. They were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful with us. We arrived with only one piece of luggage as the other one got stuck in Barcelona. They helped us trying to get in touch with the airline company. We stayed with them for 5 days and the rooms were very clean. The place is well located only a short walk to Alona Beach. Thanks for a great stay!!!
SSutapaFirst of all l wasn't expecting the level of services l Got. Loved everything about the hotel. Its serene. There is a beach yet not crowded like the alona beach. Me and my daughter had the best moments there.our flight was 10 hrs delayed and we reached quite late, they were constantly coordinating with me since l informed them l am a lady who will travel with a kid alone. From the airport we got a complimentary ride the hotel, all nicely arranged. Room was very clean despite in a very green location.
Food: they have varieties of food and it was simply awesome. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was fresh, l could understand that from the taste. All the Service providers were very jovial especially Sanders and Jane. Anne in the front desk if l remember the name correctly, l had most interactions with and she was kind.
Surroundings : the area has a colonial old era charm to it. The eating area has a great view of the sea.
We stayed there for 2 nights then moved to another resort in alona and missed this one. The pool was warm during the night time which was soothing.
If there was any chance l would have rated 11/10. For now 10/10.
GGuest UserNO sea views at all from rooms here at all. The ocean breeze rooms are simply first floor. The only ocean view is from the 1st floor bar. Staff are lovely and helpful. Reasonable pricing for such a tourist focus resort. Fish is expensive along the beach, but a variety of food available for all. I would stay again but don't over pay for something like a sea view you cannot get. See photo of the” ocean breeze view” staff on e again are lovely, clean nice rooms. Enjoyed but don't over pay.
GGuest UserSeven of us, all hailing from Bangladesh, had a three-day stay at Solea Resort and Hotel in Bohol, commencing on September 21st. Our visit was official in nature, as we were accompanied by the esteemed Governor of Bohol Mr. Erico Aris Aumentado. During this visit, I had the privilege of receiving a gift from the governor intended for my German boss, which I later brought back to Solea Resort. However, on the morning of the 23rd, as I was preparing to check out of the hotel and packing my belongings, I made a distressing discovery. Two bottles of wine had mysteriously vanished from my room. Swiftly, I reported the incident to the front desk and the duty manager. They promptly conducted a thorough investigation, which included reviewing the CCTV footage, examining my room, and inspecting my luggage. Their scrutiny revealed that, apart from carrying an umbrella once, I had never taken anything from the room. Throughout my stay, my room was diligently cleaned every day by the hotel's cleaning staff, whom we were familiar with. This made the disappearance of the wine bottles all the more baffling. After three days of inquiries and discussions, I decided to approach the duty manager once more today. To my astonishment, he mentioned that they had seen me carrying bottles on the 22nd at the lodge, as per a WhatsApp chat he provided as evidence. However, when I challenged this assertion, he swiftly retracted his statement, admitting it was a mistake. In light of this unsettling experience, I feel compelled to caution fellow travellers about the security of their belongings while staying at this hotel.
AAllmanBecause of a cancelled flight i had to arrive a day later. The contact numbers for the hotel do not work, thankfully trip.com was able to inform the hotel on my behalf. I was still charged for the first night, ok. But there was no token complimentary offer or anything to make up for it. I was even told that I was still limited to the 600peso (for two people) budget for my ‘included’ breakfasts, even though I was unable to use them for the first night. The rooms are clean and tidy, with balconies overlooking a very small pool. If you hope to sleep past 6am in the morning, you will be disappointed, since the walls are paper thin and the staff and other guests are noisily shouting to each other very early in the morning. It’s not necessary since the airport is close, but there is no airport pickup service offered, which other similarly priced hotels generally provide. Not great value, noisy in the morning, and not great service. Not awful, but I’ll not be returning to this hotel next time I visit Bohol.
AAnonymous UserOverall experience was good, the staffs are very nice. Not only assist us arrange motorcycle renting, also have shuttle car to airport, very comfortable.
However the staff checked out room right before we left, it was a bit uncomfortable, either worry we might steal something or destroy something, I think they could’ve contact us afterwards if we really did, instead of having us standing there waiting for them to check.
Hope this can be improve, thank you
Nno_juan_is_an_islandAs someone who is conscious of his travel spending, it has dawned in me that we really do not need much money for us to become a more eco-friendly traveler. And one action I frequently do is by staying at a hostel. I’ll save for another post the reasons why I love staying at hostels. Moon Fools Hostel caught my attention when I was looking for a place to stay at prior to my Bohol trip. It wasn’t there yet when I last visited Panglao in 2015. Without much information about this hostel, I relied on my instinct that it’s probably one of those few accommodations I’d love. And boy I was right… The moment I entered the hostel, I already knew that it was my kind of hostel – an eco-friendly one. I was happy to have had a great conversation with one of the owners, Mari. That is when I have learned that she and her husband are very passionate about the environment. So it isn’t surprising that the materials used in the construction of their hostel are mostly recycled. It is very admirable as to how they have made use of recycled materials from their curtains (coffee sack) to pillowcases, bedsheet, plastic cups turned into plant pots, lamps from old jars, and even recycled wood materials turned into chairs and tables. Moon Fools Hostel shows that the very essence of recycling is re-using. My stay at Moon Fools also comes with a simple breakfast that you get to prepare on your own. It usually consists of oats, raisins, mallows, some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg plus your choice of drinks (coffee, tea, or chocolate). Plus bananas too! I also like the fact that they have these little ecotourist reminders all over their place – from the bathroom to the dining area. The local staff of Moon Fools is the usual endearing and respectful Boholano people. During my 2-night stay, I have noticed that I was the only Filipino. What else to expect with Moon Fools Hostel: All rooms have air conditioning. Free WiFi is available from the lounge area to the rooms. The hostel offers airport shuttle services at an extra charge. The hostel has a shared communal bathroom. A 24-hour convenience store, a cafe and a restaurant are found on the 1st floor of the hostel. There are motorcycles and bicycles for rent. Water sports facilities are also available.
PPINGThe hotel is very close to the beach of Alona, very lively, may be a bit noisy at night, careful selection of bad sleep, the hotel wins in a good location, the price is cheap, other facilities are very general, breakfast can be packed and taken away, if you go to the sea, say in advance and the front desk. I will be ready the next day.
