This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at! From the BMW airport transfer with our driver Vanny, to being greeted at the door by name, all parts of the experience were amazing and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was exceptional in range and quality, offering the perfect mix of local, Asian, and western delicacies. We enjoyed two massages in the spa and the staff demonstrated great care and expert techniques, which left us feeling equal parts relaxed and revived. The swimming pool was oversized and a perfect temperature to lounge away a few hours, with poolside food and drink service at the press of a button. The luxury and comfort of Club Millésime was matched by the attentive and first-class service of Nikkole and his team. We enjoyed afternoon tea, nightly cocktails and tapas, and the staff assisted us with our every need. We enjoyed dinner at the Italian Restaurant - De Forni - where again we experienced service and hospitality that would rival the world’s best. Our room was well appointed with a large lounge area and bathroom. The balcony offered sweeping views of Phnom Penh and the daily housekeeping and turndown service made us never want to leave. And finally, the most memorable part of our stay was the staff, including Moni, for whom no request could not be met. This was the best hotel we have stayed in and as Accor Diamond members we have experienced some of the best globally. Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra is the best home away from home that you could want. Our only regret was that two nights just simply wasn’t long enough, so I guess we’ll be back again soon. I think it’s a Chinese boss. I feel like I’m still in China in their apartment. It’s all in Chinese. I heard that it’s the first time I lived in their house. The front desk actually upgraded me to an executive suite. Oh, I’m going. The kitchen and all self-service washing machines must be praised! There is a 24h supermarket downstairs, and you can also play golf on the second floor. I went to look for tea when the guests came at noon. I asked the front desk. There is a tea room, which is very convenient. It seems that I can live here when I come back to work.

A small gem. Lovely staff made us feel v welcome. The breakfast was good with hot food ordered. Rooms large & v clean. We were upgraded to a front room with a balcony- lovely but did have some road noise. Great quiet Air conditioning. A short walk to the Aeon Mall (turn right out of hotel) which has a good food court for lunch & trying different things. Tuk tuks 3-5 dollars to get around the city. Lovely small pool abonus after a hot day.

My stay away from home for the past 4.5 month at Somerset Norodom Phnom Penh has been a memorable and special. Under Mr. Joel, Somerset is by far the best service apartment I have stayed with. I got 6-days weekly housekeeper, 24-hour reception assistance (which help me a lot) as I have online business but rarely stayed home. The reception team has extended a WOW service such as when I got my groceries for party - they received it, scan the receipt, manage the payment and post it to my room account and store it in the fridge. They don't forget Indonesia independence day and my birthday. Oh - lovely... When my parties arrived - all my food and beverage items are served cold and perfect. Mr. Kosal at reception desk - he is a superman. He is always accountable no matter how complicated my request was. I left my belonging and he have helped me to send over to my friend as instructed and safely. Now that I reside in Bangkok, I stayed for 2-night just to try - nothing compare to Somerset Norodom. I am too spoiled with the highest service standard. Way to go Somerset Norodom. PS. Ms. Navy - you are the jewel of Phnom Pehn, because of you - I lived in Somerset

Everything was exceptional during my 10-day stay at La Chronique. Location is great, but I want focus on the facilities and staff. The hotel is small and very charming with the feel of early 20th century French colonial design and decor. The quiet rooms and the second-floor lobby all lend to one feeling like they've stepped back in time. Staff could not have been more helpful--super attentive to every need. Towels, linens, pillows all great, and the mattress was very comfortable! Two important tips: 1. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible. The lobby is a walk-up from the street, and once inside you find an elevator to access the three floors above with rooms. So one has to walk those steps each day coming and going. Second, I stayed on the first floor in a room with a balcony, which sounds great until you realize it faces an unattractive building across an alley, is not large (about 10 feet wide and extending out only 2 feet...just enough for a small table and two chairs). Most if not all of the rooms are on the small side, and my queen-size bed had only about 6 inches on either side--not enough to really access that way, I always had to climb in from the foot of the bed. A friend had the adjacent room with a king-sized bed and ample room on both sides--the only difference being that room didn't have a balcony. All the balconies take away from room size, quant as they are, and probably only the third floor was high enough to see out any distance. I never used my balcony due to its small size, limited view, and the fact that that side faces the south so it's hot out there most days. On the plus side, the rooms have full windows across that whole outside wall. PS, the shower is outstanding, as other reviews have mentioned, and there are a couple of great meeting rooms for business or small gatherings.

The hotel is in a quiet side street in the center of one of the 'nicest' areas of Phnom Penh, called BKK1. It is a pleasant boutique hotel with rooms on the ground floor around the pool, the first floor and the second floor. 8 rooms have balconies. Sun rises and hit my room (309) around 6am with 7am being the brightest. The rooms are clean, well kept and have a bright and fresh feel. The staff are excellent - take your time speaking as English can be tricky to understand - even for the English sometimes! The staff will assist you in any way they can. The food is excellent. The pool is in the central courtyard with a huge tree in the middle. It is not a lap pool and it is a great way to chill and relax keeping cool with loungers and parasols around the pool. I have moved into an apartment in Phnom Penh but would go and stay there any time and would advise anyone I now coming over to stay there.

Location is superb. Good restaurants with quite a lot of varieties of foods nearby like 2mins walk. Highly recommend Pleng Chan for breakfast. Love their pickels. Also Greek restaurant nearby was great. Queen mansion itself is a clean and safe hotel with hot water (considering some hotels in cambodia has only cold-warm water) but lacking some amenities and some issues were bit disappointing. No slippers, only two towels, dirty bath rug, ants in bathroom, one dead cockroach under a bedside drawer. When I stayed in bigger room, there were ants on the bed too. I had to spend almost 2 hrs in the middle of the night to kill 30 red ants on the mattress and pillow and blanket. I found out theres an ant house behind the bed. But I didnt see ants in smaller room. So don't get the room with kitchen. Its full of ants and the gas stove for cooking doesnt work.
