Sawasdee Village

The hotel is quite old. The air conditioning in the room was incredibly loud – I mean, deafening! If you're a light sleeper, you won't get any rest. It's a Thai-style room, which some guests might find a bit eerie. The spa reception staff were terrible; when I tried to book a massage for the next day, they insisted I pay the full amount immediately, that very day. Are they crazy? No way I'm paying upfront like that. The price was also more than ten times what the spa shops outside charge, and for that kind of service? Later, I found out that in Thailand, the price for massages varies depending on the type of essential oil used. On a positive note, the hotel restaurant's stir-fried basil rice (Pad Kra Pao) was delicious.

The environment is great, very well-designed, and every detail is beautiful – you could spend all day just taking photos here. The pool is absolutely stunning. There's a shuttle service to Kata Beach every hour.

I was assigned the last room down the hall, which was actually quite nice. The pool offered an amazing 'infinity' view. This hotel has a very authentic Thai feel, and the staff were all very polite and always greeted me. The only downside was that clothes didn't dry well on the first floor.

The environment and location are both excellent, offering great value for money. My kids didn't even want to go back home!

A fantastic hotel! We booked a villa, which was spacious and had direct access to the pool. The oriental-style decor was interesting, with carved furniture and lots of lighting, making it a pleasure to walk around and admire the design and details throughout the hotel. Our room had a large bed, quality linens, a capsule coffee machine (with capsules included), welcome drinks, and various insect repellents, among other amenities. The breakfast was diverse, offering Asian and European cuisines, fruits, pastries, a cheese and cold cuts selection, and a coffee machine. There are several pools, and in the evenings, the lighting comes on, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Near the hotel, you'll find many cafes, restaurants, massage parlors, a currency exchange, and a 7/11. There's a scheduled shuttle to the beach, but we preferred to walk, which takes about 10 minutes along a lively street. We absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend it!

The rooms were great, the staff were all very friendly, and the hotel environment was incredibly beautiful – perfect for taking lots of photos. We stayed here for five days and felt right at home. This hotel is a fantastic choice for both family and couple getaways. A special thank you to Pe and Fah, they were both wonderful.

The facilities were excellent and I loved the Thai ambiance! It was such a great place that it makes me want to visit Phuket again! Highly recommended!
