Yundingxuan Hotel

Had a fantastic experience. The hotel is centrally located on West Street in the ancient city, making it easy to walk to all the attractions. It's an authentic Qijin Jin merchant compound, brimming with traditional architectural charm. At night, the lanterns create an incredible ambiance, and every corner of the courtyard is perfect for photos. The room was clean and tidy, and the traditional heated bed (kang) was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and thoughtful. After check-in, we could communicate via WeChat for any needs, and they even recommended sightseeing routes, helped book 'Again Pingyao' tickets, and arranged transportation and a tour guide. The breakfast featured delicious and warm local specialty noodles. Staying in an old residence like this offers a unique charm, and it's definitely a worthwhile choice when visiting Pingyao.

The hotels are all in excellent locations, with convenient transportation access. They are clean and well-maintained, with complete facilities. The overall stay experience was great, perfectly meeting our travel and relaxation needs. The accommodation costs were also very reasonable.

Superb! The front desk service and the staff who showed us to our room were incredibly warm and helpful, offering fantastic tips for exploring. Our room was spotless, the bedding was super comfy, and the 'kang' (heated bed) was huge – big enough for five! They even helped us arrange a private car and a really professional tour guide. The food recommendations were divine, and the restaurants near the hotel were also delicious. The location is perfect, making it easy to get in and out of the city. What really sets this place apart is that it's the only guesthouse within the ancient city walls with a grand seven-courtyard layout, very impressive! Even celebrities have stayed here and loved it. The in-house photo shoot service was also a nice touch! Breakfast was excellent, especially the handmade noodles – we each had two bowls! Overall, our entire family was extremely satisfied. An absolutely fantastic stay! 👍👍

I was a bit conflicted about where to stay in the ancient city before checking in, but I'm really happy with my final choice. This hotel, 'Seven Ins and Seven Outs Jinshang Mansion,' is right on West Street, making it super convenient to get around. The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are well-equipped. They even have a travel photographer in the lobby! I bought my 'See Pingyao Again' show tickets at the front desk for a group discount price. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from the show, with the pickup/drop-off point at Xixi Gate – make sure you don't go to the wrong spot! Highly recommend it!

Service: Rarely do hotels proactively contact guests in advance to ask about their arrival method to the ancient city, and even provide detailed instructions – a big thumbs up! 👍 Atmosphere: A beautiful old house with a great ambiance, perfect for photos (they even have their own travel photography service).

Room 588 had no shower door and no non-slip mat. The toilet seat was dirty, and the toiletries were dusty. The environment itself was decent, with a lot of old town character. What was truly off-putting was the 'pull one up, step on one down' attitude from the staff, which really ruined the experience!

Excellent service, both my parents and children were very satisfied with their stay. It's also super convenient for dining and sightseeing. Highly recommended!

An excellent experience! The environment was fantastic, I especially loved the ancient courtyard feel. The accommodations were great, and listening to the rain fall on the plants was incredibly therapeutic. The hotel service was also spot on. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to friends.
