"My children (18/16 yo) stayed at Pingyuan Mansion for two nights. Our taxi from the Pingyao railway dropped us at the South Gate of the city wall. He called the hotel, who sent a trolley to pick up as they were not allowed inside the city wall. It has two lovely courtyards. Our room had automations everything. Breakfast was amazing for those who like of varieties of small dishes. The staff made arrangements to drop us off the railway. It is only a few alleys away from the excitements of street vendors, music, sit down restaurants and shops. You won’t be disappointed staying with them. Truly an authentic Pingyao stay."

"The hotel is full of the style of the Republic of China. Being in it, you feel like traveling through time. If you like cheongsam, you can wear a cheongsam and take a beautiful photo. The room is spacious and elegant and classical. The breakfast is rich, with both Chinese and Western food, which can satisfy the taste buds. The price of lunch and dinner is moderate, the tableware is disinfected, clean and hygienic, and there are various cuisines. The taste is good and worth trying. The large-scale live performance "See Pingyao Again" is near the hotel, only about 5 minutes walk."

The garden is an Oasis of silence..Property is located at the best location with proximity to some of the best spots. We can recommend that place a 100%!"

Even though its very central, the rooms are in a back garden so its very peacefull and quiet. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable! The person working at the teception supported us with anything we asked, it felt like a piece of authentic chinese hospitality! I can only recommend this beautiful Inn to anyone visiting Pingyao!"

"My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was absolutely beautiful and allowed me to experience the authentic atmosphere of traditional China. It was thoughtfully divided into a living area and a sleeping area, making it both spacious and comfortable. The elegant furniture, decorations, and sculptures added a unique charm to the room. The bathroom was excellent as well, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower. The staff at the reception spoke English very well, making communication easy throughout my stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions of beautiful Pingyao. A special shout-out for the thoughtful disposable bath towels and hand towels in the room – very reassuring to use. A fantastic accommodation choice for Pingyao!"

"What a nice courtyard and hotel, we had a great stay here! Our room was huge and full of beautiful details, a bit like living in an old Chinese palace but still being in a modern comfortable hotel room with a big comfy bed. Women in hanfu costumes come to have their pictures taken because the building is so nice. It's a bit of a walk to the happening centres but very quiet, beside the amazing city wall, not far from the west gate with restaurants (or grab an electric taxi bus). The staff was very nice and we loved a free dropoff to the station in the end, also some local vinegar that we'll enjoy over the coming months, thanks a lot! One single recommendation only, being able to order even just a very simple breakfast snack would have made it perfect!"

The hotel itself could not be located more conveniently - directly in the Ancient town but very close to the New Dongmen exit which makes it super easy to access the road where you can take a cab from, a few minutes walking distance from the South Gate and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants. The young couple who run the hotel are excellent hosts, kind, pleasant and super helpful. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended place."

The decoration style in the inn is very distinctive, with a strong Shanxi merchant culture style, which also lays the foundation for the travel photography provided by the inn. It is the first choice for travel photography. The location of the inn is quiet in the hustle and bustle. It is a five-minute walk to the bustling area of the ancient city center, and it is very quiet to rest at night. The inn's operators, everyone brings you joy and warmth. The big kang room is very special, and you can experience it for family travel. The only drawback is that the room is slightly small, which is understandable for an old house. Here are a few real pictures of the inn for reference. Generally speaking, it is recommended."

"The B&B building is a historical building. You can visit the ancient city buildings, feel the ancient city architecture, and experience the daily life of Pingyao people. Lie down on the hard kang in the house to eliminate the fatigue of the day, make a pot of tea in the house, sit on the tea stool and think of the miniature of the TV series Qiao Family Courtyard. Climb up to the second floor to taste tea and drink, and feel the breeze on the outdoor middle corridor. It's like traveling back to ancient times, and I want to recite poems and paint. The hotel is very close to the famous restaurants in Pingyao Ancient City, Hongwu Ji, Tianyuan Kui, Zipei Ji, Niangjia Vinegar Shop, and Liang Xiansen Yogurt Shop. It is a very good location and very awesome. The owner of the shop is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. I will come again and experience it again! It's worth coming, family!"
