This hotel is a 3* not a 5*. This holiday was booked for our 2nd wedding anniversary and it’s not the break we expected…. On arrival everything was going well until the taxi organised by the hotel dropped us off and as I have him the €25 that I was quoted by Simone Fries, he asked for €30. I argued back and showed him the email and it didn’t matter to him. He marched us into the hotel in which the reception ladies listened to what we had to say and I showed them the email. In the conversation between the taxi driver and reception they came up with two different stories. Story 1 - there was an extra charge of 5 euros for making the booking (not listed in the confirmation). Story 2 - the flight was delayed. The hotel had all my flight info at booking. I then proposed that the hotel should pay the extra 5 as this was not my problem and I was going to pay what was quoted. After the incident with the taxi which left us deflated, the ladies at reception sat us down and provided a welcome drink. I asked if our early room request was granted (I emailed the hotel and so did TUI - to be in the 800 block) in which nothing was said. They allocated us in the 700 block. First impression of the room was positive until we went out on the balcony. There was a wasp nest in the corner. The view was not a full sea view but limited. I went back down to reception and told them o was not happy with what we had been allocated. Ionna and her colleague who also shared the same name were very rude and dismissive towards me by telling me that’s as I can see the sea it’s a sea view and if I want to change I’ll have to wait three days and even at that they may not be able to do anything. At this point I asked to see the manager in which a room change was instantly available. I viewed the room in the main building and the view was better (Room 127), however after moving and investigating the room, the standard was worse than a Travel lodge. Wardrobe - paint worn and battered. Bed - blood on head board. Floor - holes. Bathroom - holes it tiles. Wood chips in the door and frame. Toilet brackets rusted and dirty. In addition the drain smelt everyday and despite my daily complaints, TUI Blue Manager (Simone) told me that the issue had been resolved and in the end she made me feel like I was not telling the truth as the problem had been fixed. Balcony - tiles loose. Simone offered me a change of room but this was three days before we were leaving so I declined it as I said that this wasn’t viable to pack everything and then unpack. The bedding was frayed and the towels had holes. Pool towels are terrible quality. Gym is dirty and the equipment is not in full function. Breakfast service - I had to ask for a coffee several times while others were instantly asked. There was a couple of occasions where I had to help myself. Evening Dress - it states on the TUI website ‘ Men should wear full-length trousers or smart tailored shorts, in all restaurants, in the evenin

Me and my partner came here for a 4 day break and we loved it!!!! The hotel was beautiful the pools over looking the sea was beautiful! Our room was basic but clean and had our own swim up pool which we loved! All the food in the buffets was lovely, and the restaurant was also very good. Cocktails were superb and all the bars and entertainment was very enjoyable! Defo would come back!

We stayed at the Tui Blue Caravel Hotel in Zante from July 28th to August 4th and had an overall enjoyable experience. The hotel offers a variety of room types, and we booked a Jacuzzi room with a stunning sea view. The room was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, allowing us to start our vacation without any delays. The hotel's cleanliness was generally good; however, there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in the restaurant, which was dripping during our visit. The hotel boasts several facilities, including a spa pool, gym, and spa services. While the spa pool was a nice addition, I felt that it could have been heated as it was quite cold. Additionally, I noticed that sunbeds in the pool area often had towels on them but remained unoccupied until around 4pm, which could be improved to ensure fair availability for all guests. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, providing excellent service. We appreciated their efforts to make our visit enjoyable. Regarding dining options, the buffet was decent but nothing exceptional. For lunch, we found the snack bar to have better choices, while the Culinarium restaurant provided a delightful fine dining experience once during your stay. The drinks at the hotel were a bit hit and miss, but we particularly enjoyed the iced latte, euphoria cocktail and espresso martinis. We noticed that the drinks prepared at the bar inside were of better quality than those at the pool bar. Unfortunately, my partner and I fell ill on the sixth day of our trip, and we saw a comment on the Tui Blue App from another couple experiencing similar symptoms. Although it didn't seem widespread, the hotel staff were helpful and supportive during this  time. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the room we requested before arriving, room 224. It offered one of the best views in the hotel, overlooking the sea. We loved the private sunbathing area with sunbeds and a shaded jacuzzi, providing the perfect relaxation spot. Thank you for providing our preferred room choice! In conclusion, the Tui Blue Caravel Hotel in Zante provided a pleasant and memorable vacation experience. With some minor improvements in the pool area and drink quality, this hotel could become an even more outstanding destination for travelers seeking relaxation and beautiful views. Pros: • The restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating, always willing to adjust food orders based on our requests. For instance, we wanted chicken added to the pizza, and they happily fulfilled our wishes, making dining a personalized experience. • The hotel staff's customer service skills were top-notch. Throughout our stay, they were helpful and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcome and taken care of. • The Tui Blue app pinboard was a convenient way to communicate requests with the hotel. We found it generally efficient. Cons:

Further to our last review the management have done nothing to solve our problem despite saying they would and we are have heard nothing. We are very disappointed about this situation and would have thought that a company as large as Tui would step in to help.

Wow amazing hotel, really comfortable king size bed, cleaner was excellent and came in every day as did the mini bar refill man. Food was excellent, really friendly staff especially Juna & Vasilis (love this lad he likes to keep you hydrated) Such a quiet hotel and so relaxing, we had a private pool and it was amazing Mario the waiter could do with being a bit more friendly and working harder, he seemed like he didn’t want to be there and didn’t work no where near as hard as Juna, she was up and down all day clearing glasses and taking orders Reserving sun beds needs to be enforced more, as there was so many towels on there at 8am for hours with no one on them I wanted a milkshake at 9.30pm and was told no ? Don’t know why as it’s on the drink menu, I think the waiter couldn’t be bothered to make it Infinity pool was gorgeous Snack bar food was amazing Entertainment is an act every night which stops at 11.30pm latest 30 mins from the airport, 15 min walk takes you into Tsilivi, few supermarkets right outside the house and ATM The beach isn’t the best but we hardly used it Would definitely go again though

Arrived at the hotel early evening, check in really quick. Taken to our room by Martin a lovely man who told us where everything was on the way, beautiful room. I had upgraded to a partial sea view and it was more like a full view Comfortable bed well equipped with tea/ coffee bottles of water and free soft drink mini bar I had to change my pillow and the housekeeper got straight onto it and was there ready for sleep We had dinner in the main restaurant, full range of beautifully cooked food, hot and tasty, waiting staff all brilliant, work so hard, especially Angela who never stopped smiling, nothing was too much trouble The bar staff all lovely, cocktails good, entertainment pretty good , abba and Elton John tributes, silent disco. And Greek night especially good The 2 pools are beautifully clean and plenty of sun Loungers, I did get up early to put towels down on the beds outside the culinarium restaurant pool as they got taken quickly Full entertainment programme throughout the day Jenga, boules, darts etc and of course aquarobics.. the fitness Instructor was fantastic made it fun to do while making you work!! The beach and pool service was excellent, special thanks to vasillies who worked so hard and always delivered drinks with a smile and a chat Book the Culinarium restaurant as soon as you arrive as it gets booked up quickly. Really beautiful food and great waiting staff I had a massage at the beautiful spa, she was exceptional and well worth a visit , the staff come round the pools and beach daily giving free 2 minute back massages, fantastic!! I paid for a late night check out room and was lucky to be able to keep the room we were in We had a problem with ants in our room, mentioned it to reception and it was dealt with immediately. The housekeeper asked us next day if all was ok I cannot fault this hotel, the manager came and spoke to us on one of his rounds talking to the guests and we told him how the staff were a credit to him.. We had a wonderful relaxing week and can’t thank the hotel enough, would I recommend it Yes 100% Look forward to our next visit

The hotel was ok, our room looked like a travel lodge room. The water from the shower ran onto the bathroom floor so we left towels down to soak the water up. No toiletries and it was supposed to be an upgraded room. The restaurant was very good, the waiting staff were excellent. The swimming pool looked lovely apart but there was no shade, if you stayed by the pool all day you would be burnt to a crisp! The beach towels were awful, thin and frayed, they should have been thrown out long ago. We had to keep asking for water, the door to the fridge was hanging off. No we won’t be going back.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay here but a few things were nowhere near the expected standard. The swimming pool area was pleasant and the pool and bar service exceptional. Good buffets morning and evening and lunch served from a menu was enjoyable. We were very disappointed with the standard of the bedroom and bathroom. The towels in the bathroom and at the pool were all frayed and need urgent replacing. The bathroom was very small with tiles falling off the walls. The soap dispenser could not be reached from the basin . No body lotion, shampoo, conditioner etc as would be expected. However a problem occurred when unfortunately my husband became unwell. The reception staff were very helpful and called a doctor who sent him to the local hospital for checks. The doctor returned the following morning and asked us for a large sum in cash saying she would deal with insurance company. She did not give us a receipt. Since then the hotel receptionists have been very helpful in trying to contact the doctor but after 2 months we still do not have a receipt and so are unable to claim on our travel insurance. Letters to the Hotel Manager regarding this have all been unanswered. This situation has led to us losing a lot of money despite having travel insurance.
