It is well located and protected place. Foods are amazing and there are too many different kinds. Pool is nice. It only needs a better beach. Not for a beach holiday but others are really good.

The hotel was fantastic: close to the center of Playa and with great facilities including swimming pools, gym, lots of restaurants and activities.

The off-season is not too noisy, the people are not crowded, the food and drink are very high-end, the room hardware is very high-end, that is, it is comfortable and convenient, but also has face, the location is very good, and it is super safe!

First of all, we arrived to find that the room we received was far smaller than the photos showed on the site. It was more like a hotel room than a resort room. We did finally get moved into a room which we thought we had from the photos shown, but we had to pay an additional $400.00 to get it. This was not the way we wanted our vacation to begin.
We then discovered the bars do not open until
11:00 am and the pool closes at 6:00 pm. What the heck kind of All Inclusive runs like this? So many people complained about the bars not opening until 11:00. The pools are smaller and quite cold. Lounge chairs are very limited due to the amount of cabanas they have on site. It seems the resort would rather rent the cabanas for $79 a day than have guests enjoy free lounge chairs at the pool. The greed is evident there.
My husband and I did agree that the food was good at all the restaurants and the workers were very pleasant and friendly.
Unfortunately, there is no beach left at this resort so any catamaran or snorkeling is out of the question. There is also a great deal of sea**** daily and the smell can be strong at times.
Although we met some wonderful people and enjoyed our time in Mexico 🇲🇽, we will not return to this resort. There were more cons than pros. We will be looking more closely at the descriptions when selecting our next vacation.

I really wanted to love this place. I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. First of all, if you want a true ocean view, pay for the ocean FRONT room. I paid more for the Junior ocean view suite and was so disappointed. We were overlooking the street and directly looking into the hotel across the streets gym. We had a tiny view of the water if we leaned over our patio. Waste of money.
The pool situation was ridiculous. Getting a chair was impossible if you weren’t out there at 7am. But you had to actually sit there or staff would move your belongings. They have these huge cabana beds you can rent but so many were empty and taking up space where free loungers could be!
Food was average but avoid the steak place. That was terrible. The drinks were good at the hotel lobby bar but a very limited drink menu unless you paid for “premium” alcohol. The beach was completely covered in sargassum our first 2 days there. We did enjoy some time on the beach our last day. Bars don’t open until 11am so be prepared for a long line as soon as they do open. The spa was a highlight so if you do go, get a massage and enjoy the hydrotherapy. I’m not sure we will return. I didn’t feel that our experience matched the cost of the resort.

I would highly discourage this hotel. Images on ******* were very deceptive and did not match conditions found at the property. Pool area has strong rotting fish order from the beach area that is not maintained and the sea**** is left to rot. The pool area was unruly similar to a spring break for convicts. We only stayed one night out of three planned. Upon arrival we asked if we could be refunded for early departure and we were assured from front desk that we would only be charged for the first night we stayed. Before check out we had to sign a form that said we were departing early due to no fault of hotel. They said without this form we could not receive partial refund. With guarantees of a refund we changed flights and came home early. Our only dinner at the reservation only steakhouse was horrible. My wife ordered steak that was served rubbery blue raw, not medium as ordered. The potatoes were instant mashed pearls that tasted like glue. Room was also not satisfactory. Room cleanliness was questionable. Checked in late after 5:30 to find housekeepers still in room and prep appeared to have been rushed. No luggage racks provided, so suitcases had to be left on filthy floor.In room entertainment including all premium movie channels was in spanish only. Front desk was unable to assit with changing language options. Upon checking with ******* they contacted the hotel and against what we had been told would not refund our unused nights. This hotel is a scam. Stay away.

I like that it is a small resort and walkable to all shopping and entertainment. I have been here when it was Panama Jacks and loved it so came back with a new group but I don't like that Wyndham has made it fill more closed off inside and around the pool. Putting furniture in front of doorways that walk out to the pool and putting cabanas around the pool on the side where you walk out. They block the view from the resort to be able to see the beautiful pool and ocean.

This was the first time we visited Cancun. We just had a bitter moment when checking in. Imagine getting there after a long flight and find out you don’t have a reservation. Which it was a misunderstanding with the booking agent we used. Long story short, our reservation was pushed a day and we literally were told to go sit in the lobby and figure out with the booking agent. After booking agent told us that there’s nothing they could do. Instead of assisting us or booking the night for us we get told once again to go back to the lobby couches and find a booking site to do booking ourselves. This took us 2 1/2 hours to get it resolved. Otherwise, everyone was very pleasant the spa workers, bartenders, room service, hostesses, waiters cleaning service, and the food was very delicious. Will we go back to Cancun? Definitely, but we are considering trying out a different location.
