We have spent a great stay of 8 nights in this hotel. Ambiance cosy. Beautiful room, clean and clean every day, large and well equipped, new and quiet air conditioning. Perfect breakfast: eggs made on request + varied buffet with a special mention for home-made bread and home-made chocolate pasta. The restaurant is also very good with a map with Indonesian and Italian specialties. The first floor room view gives risers .... great! Preventive and smile staff. I advise this hotel without reservation. If you have no guide you can easily meet through the hotel.

Good hotel in rantepao. New building, clean rooms, wifi ok, hot shower, very good and helpfull staff. In a side street, 5 minutes walk to everything, quieter than main street. Large calm lobby upstairs to read a book or relax. Breakfast included Nice place.

it definitely has a cool ambience with the Tongkanen traditional buildings and mountains in background. Wi-Fi was strong ( important in middle of nowhere). I would give the breakfast buffet a 7/10. Bar area was nice. Nice pool area for kids. Things to improve on 1. Information. I was told I could have dinner in the restaurant at 7 PM only to be told at 7 PM that they had a special group there and I couldn’t eat there. 2. Checking the bedroom before your guest gets there. The toilet was loud and was running all night. 3. Checking the electrical. One light took 10 minutes to come on and then on the second night 75% of the outlets didn’t work for charging my phone. Just doing simple room maintenance occasionally would help. 4. Making simple adjustments. There is a little bit of a crack underneath the entrance door, and when I came back the first night, there was a giant slug that had gotten in which was kind of gross but at the same time I realize I’m out in the jungle. However, this wouldn’t happen if the door was fitted properly. Obviously, I know what to expect because the hotel is out in the middle of Tana Toraja but it could improve on a few things
