Hotels near Mural Nina Valkhoff in Rotterdam

My experience in this hotel was really nice. It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

The room was very nice, vibrant colors, bed was awesome, all very clean. But the big mistake they made with the renovation were the doors. They slam with a very big bang, so when anyone else on the floor enters the room, it all shakes. And then they are not isolated, you can understand discussions happening outside the room. And then, for the breakfast, dinner, lunch: only christmas music. But of the worst kind. There is no place in the region to escape this in the morning, so you have to deal with the christmas music. And for 17 euro's, it's not even worth actually what you get after your ears are in pain with ”jolly happy christmas” three times during breakfast.

It took over an hour to get a room from check-in. The first room didn’t have WiFi, so they sent me to another room ( they didn’t help move my luggage and I spent 25 traipsing around trying to find my rooms) - having moved room - still no WiFi and the key didn’t work. This hotel looks like a fun place to stay - but it is awful. I’ve been here an hour - apparently someone will be down to help. Can’t unpack as I expect that I’ll be moved again (and won’t get help). Have just been called and they wanted me to go to another part of the ship….where there is WiFi…I guess we’re giving up on being allowed to work in my room.

We spent great night in the Room Hostel, the bed was comfy the staff is super nice and well-organised. You can choose a delightfull nutritional breakfast for 5€ per person. The bathroom qnd the hostel overally were clean. Recommemded for backpackers. Plus point they have night activities everyday some of them are free plus in June they celebrate the 100th anniversary of the stand of the building.

The hotel is a very professional reception team and all the staff in this hotel that I will not hesitate to classify as the best Ibis Styles attended in recent years. It is a very recent hotel, but it is easy to see that it has been designed with very good quality equipment and materials. The decoration (hall, bar, restaurant, rooms) is tastefully made without forgeting the comfort that some architects forget when designing some hotels. Although it is on the edge of the airport, there is basically no plane taking off, no noise, good soundproofing, and the window is double-layer soundproof glass. Very good.

Zeer net en ruim opgezet hotel met voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Schone kamers, niet super de luxe; maar van alle gemakken voorzien je kunt een bakje koffie of thee op de kamer klaarmaken en met fijne bedden (1102). Vriendelijk en behulpzaam, Nederlands sprekend, personeel. Je kunt tot 23.45 nog een drankje bestellen in de lounge, mocht je dat willen. Het ontbijtbuffet is behoorlijk uitgebreid met diverse broodjes (hard/zacht/hartig/zoet), English breakfast, verschillende soorten yoghurt, fruit en beleg en american pancakes en een grote diversiteit aan warme en koude dranken. Er loopt voldoende, vriendelijk personeel rond waardoor je je erg welkom voelt. Wat helaas, vooral voor onze kinderen, erg vervelend was, was dat er een mevrouw in het hotel verbleef die nare en beledigende dingen naar ons riep toen wij na het ontbijt terug gingen naar onze hotelkamer. Het kwam op ons over alsof zij behoorlijk onder invloed was van iets; ze liep/ danste intimiderend in de foyer rond in haar badjas en met een handdoek om haar haar gebonden alsof ze de hele nacht al sinds de avond ervoor onderweg was naar de badkamer. Ze lachte onze zoon uit toen hij bijna tussen de liftdeur kwam wat voor hem echt heel vervelend was. Voor een net hotel als dit was dat wel een afknapper na zo'n geweldig ontbijt en verblijf. Als ik de eigenaar was had ik haar eruit gezet. Wat ook jammer was, waren de omgevingsgeluiden. Rondom het hotel is men bezig met werkzaamheden waardoor je (zelfs op de 11e verdieping) vroeg gewekt wordt door vrachtwagens die af en aan rijden.

Hotel a few steps from public transport leading to the city centre. It has parking but unfortunately there were no spaces for us. However, it is easy to find space on the street. The rooms are spacious but poorly equipped. There is no fridge, hairdryer and wardrobe. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall a good stay

After stay at the Copenhagen CityHub I thought why not give this Rotterdam one a go as my experience before was great. Well firstly my god it was noisy, I had requested a quiet pod in the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper (even with earplugs in and pillow overhead lol) . So I was placed near the toilets/showers.... Ding ding ding alarms should have been going off then as the amount of banging those toilets/showers doors and the thumping of the people who sounded like they was thumping past all the pods (request a top pod in future). With ear plugs I was woken up early by other pod users who didn't have a care about anybody else who would have even been asleep as long as the could have a chat in the hall ways as loud as possible. So if you are going out and getting drunk this hotel is perfect for you but if you are on a sightseeing trip and wanting a early night we'll best of luck with that. None of my USB chargers were working in my pod but luckily I had brought a plug with more than 1 socket on it for charging. You get what you pay here and for a single person it's the cheapest option in the city. Lockers are huge and fitted my large suitcase in very easily. Staff very helpful as usual especially the American guy. Would I stay again, I'm afraid I wouldn't at this one as far too noisy for me. Maybe big groups shouldn't be all put on same floor and then they can meet in area downstairs and chat as loud as possible as they want at any time that suits them.
