"Free hot water is available on the first floor. The beds are clean and comfortable, not stuffy, and good for sleeping. Essentially, two people can sleep in one bed without an issue. The showers on the first floor are a bit inconvenient, especially since I was on the second floor. Overall, the hygiene was very good, no problems there. Some drinks require payment with a wristband."

The hotel itself is lovely, so modern and clean. The rooms are amazing, large and spacious with amazing showers and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Coffee machine, fridge and safe all provided. Would 100%r recommend and we would definitely return. Amazing value"

"This hotel is located in the city centre, right to some iconic buildings, with the food hall just walking distance. There is also a big supermarket on the opposite side of the street. Very convenient. Staff are also very nice, and the breakfast is tasty. The hotel have rooms with riverside views, would be nice to have a room with a view. The room size is good, but there is no kettle or cups for drinks. However, as mentioned, you are not too far from all actions and food options."

Staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming and the room is spacious and at first sight looks comfortable (it looks better in reality than on the photos I took). Unfortunately, the beds are extremely soft though. That is of course a matter of personal preference and some guests may like the soft mattresses, but I couldn't sleep on them. Fortunately, there was a sofa in the room that was large enough to sleep on and much more comfortable than the beds;-) I might stay here again because of the location, but in terms of beds this would probably not be my first choice."

"We had been looking forward immensely to our stay at Hotel Ame. We stay in hotels regularly, but unfortunately, this one is not one of our favorites. The feeling afterwards is primarily one of disillusionment. We had booked our room back in March. Because I had read several reviews about noise disturbances at the front of the hotel, I contacted the reception by phone beforehand. I was assured that we would not be staying at the front. However, upon arrival, it turned out that we had been given room 24 at the front. The receptionist understood our disappointment and fortunately resolved this immediately by giving us a beautiful, very spacious room at the back. A great room with a large bed and plenty of comfort. Unfortunately, this turned out to be possible for only one night. We slept wonderfully there! For the 2-night stay, we had to move to room 24 at the front. While the first night was heavenly, the 2-night was an absolute hell. I have rarely slept so badly in a hotel. We found the bed very uncomfortable, and because it is positioned against the wall, you have to climb over each other to use the toilet at night. Additionally, there is a wooden rail on the bed that looks nice, but we bumped into it quite hard several times. And the noise was unbearable. We used earplugs, but that didn't help either. The bathroom is very small; you can barely turn around in it. For the price you pay, we really expected more. The hotel's location is definitely a plus, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, in hindsight, we would advise paying extra for a larger room at the back or considering another hotel. Unfortunately, we will not be returning."
