The largest island, accessed easily by bridges, houses lots of little paths that meander around;- A large exclusive to the watermill, designer grey stone tiled pool with its white stone surrounds, bar area and poolside fridge; Pool heated by solar panels.- Outdoor kitchen with covered dining area riverside ;- Large grass play area with a tennis net & football goal ;- A small short tennis/ mini badminton area poolside; table tennis; 2 canoes; 1 kayak; 1 fishing boat; fishing rod; 6-7 man hot tub ; table tennis etc.- Beautiful property, very private grounds.There are sounds of the 2 waterfalls there - from a large, suspended cantilevered balcony over the river with another waterfall over the little canal that passes through the property. The river runs under the house in 3 places in an authentic, original ground floor.Living accommodation is on the first floor only, accessed by a very modern floating staircase. 4 double bedrooms, 1 en-suite with jacuzzi bath and small private balcony ; and 1 wetroom; 1 Jack'n'jill shower room.Whilst marvellous for children there, it is not recommended for under 4's. Lifejackets are provided for the boat & canoes. It is a paradise for wild life, with herons; kingfishers; ducks; cormorants; fish; red squirrels; coypu etc in abundance.You may indeed be wolf whistled at by the beautifully coloured golden orioles (rare in the Uk) that nest in the canopy on the largest island each year. It is a location to be truly enjoyed, to rest & re-charge your batteries or to have as energetic holiday as you wish, with something for everyone.2 x big portable air conditioning units to place where you first floor only accommodation unfortunately makes it unsuitable for the physically challenged who cannot manage stairs.Strictly Saturday changeovers.

In the original windmill are 4 flooìrs of accommodation: a below ground bespoke shower room with mosaic tiles from the Maldives ( with above ground opening window); a ground floor oak bespoke kitchen including a Us fridge with filtered water & ice cubes etc; a 5 ringed gas cooker, a microwave; a small oven etc ; top sail room / lounge/ office area with panoramic views; first floor bedroom with 2 x single beds & inset washbasin in the thick wall, with a tiny oak semi -circular wardrobe All are separated by winding stone steps with working trap doors to the top lounge in which is a semi- circular leather settee & satellite tv.. and desk to work on. It is not recommended for the mobility restricted or very young children but otherwise is absolutely wonderful for young families; perfect for honeymooners ( first or Second!); couples of any age who can still manage steps. In the designer extension are to be found a small garden room with bi-folding doors and the most wonderful view, leading onto a terrace with a large electric awning; a shower room; a spacious double bedroom above with a king sized bed approached by a little drop down stairway & with a star gazing velux window above the bed ( with blind). It is presented in a romantic fashion. Outside there is the private & very pretty kidney shaped pool complete with its own jacuzzi in the steps with water at the same temperature as the pool; a separate large 6-7 man hot tub; a Bbq ; firepit etc. Magnificent location. Tiny but perfectly formed. bed settee on the ground floor extension & folding chair bed with all necessary bedding also available for those unable to climb stairs still
