Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts properties in Sanya

I can only give this hotel three stars; its main advantage is the price, making it a suitable choice for early morning or late-night flights. Based on reviews, I expected the room to be spacious and great, but upon entering, it felt like a hotel that was over 10 years old. It was also extremely damp, and the hotel had a very musty smell. The room lighting was dim, and the hallways were also dark at night, making it unsuitable for a solo female traveler. The hotel is located by the road, and regardless of whether you're on the 9th, 11th, or 19th floor, the noise is significant, making it difficult to sleep. For service, I can only give two stars, no more. The front desk staff, Winni Li (I think that was her name), assigned me rooms twice that were extremely damp and had no Wi-Fi signal. When I asked if there were higher floors available, she said no. Having to switch rooms twice and still not getting a good one was incredibly frustrating. The third time, another front desk staff member was very helpful and found me a room on the 19th floor in Block B.

Stayed for two nights with my 7-year-old, and this is by far my favorite hotel. The hygiene gets a 10/10, service 10/10, and the room facilities and details are excellent. The balcony is large and comfortable, with no hint of mustiness. There are plenty of hangers for drying clothes, and it's the first time I've encountered a hotel that provides children's hangers. When checking out, I realized I didn't have enough space for my belongings, and discovered a large, sturdy tote bag in the room – it was perfect! I was so touched; attention to detail is truly 100%. I left an item in the room, and after I left, the front desk proactively called to offer to mail it to me. Compared to other hotels, this deserves a huge thumbs up 👍. I've forgotten things at other places a few times, and contacting them never yielded results. Breakfast and the buffet dinner were also incredibly delicious. The hotel's travel photography was excellent too, and the coconut grove was very photogenic. This is my fourth time in Sanya, and I've stayed at Tianyu and MGM in Yalong Bay, and Pullman Haiju in Coconut Dream Corridor, but none of them offered an experience as good as this hotel. Their room facilities, hygiene, and service didn't compare. This place is exceptionally clean, from the rooms and restaurants to the children's play facilities – all super clean and properly disinfected. This was my first time in Haitang Bay, and I was surprised to find the sand even finer than Yalong Bay's. The hotel provides sand-digging tools both day and night, and you can catch many crabs in the evening. Haitang Bay is also quieter and more comfortable compared to Yalong Bay. I would have stayed longer if school wasn't starting soon. I'll definitely be back next time. A special shout-out to Yang Zhi Gan Lu 🥭, for incredibly gentle, attentive, and excellent service!

Our stay at Crowne Plaza Sanya Bay Resort during our trip to Sanya was excellent overall. The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location on Sanya Bay's Coconut Dream Corridor, offering easy access to the beach for sunset views. It's also very close to Phoenix International Airport, making early morning or late-night flights hassle-free. The grand European Baroque-style lobby is truly impressive and perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious, and our sea-view room featured a scenic balcony with a bathtub, creating a wonderful ambiance. We could enjoy the ocean view right from our bed, and the sunset over the sea in the evening was absolutely stunning. The bedding was comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all facilities were well-maintained. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including freshly made Hainanese noodles, and was served until noon, which was great for those who wanted to sleep in. The hotel also has two large outdoor pools and a kids' club, all set within beautiful gardens, making it a very pleasant place for a relaxing vacation. The front desk and concierge staff were warm and attentive, promptly addressing any issues. This hotel is suitable for both couples and families, offering great value for money. It's definitely a top choice when visiting Sanya Bay, and we would consider staying here again!

This is our second stay at the Crowne Plaza Sanya Yazhou Bay, and the service, environment, and hygiene are still top-notch. The kids' club, in particular, was a huge hit with our little one. Anya provided excellent service too; we were very happy with our room arrangements. They even pre-installed bed rails, so we didn't have to worry about our child falling out of bed while sleeping.
