Hotels in Market Area, Sapa

A one-line review of this accommodation could be said to be a very sadistic notice. Sapa actually has things to see such as Fansipan and Cat Cat Village. If you have a long itinerary, it can be a bit boring, but the lodging is a place where you can relieve that boredom. It's the best place to go to Sun Plaza and Cat Cat Village, and you can get tea, meals, and even massages nearby. If you don't like the hustle and bustle of the city, you can also enjoy a light drink and meal at this accommodation. You can meet friends from all over the world and have fun Google Maps is a bit strange as to how to get there. There are stairs going down in the direction of the arrow in the attached photo. The interior is clean and can be said to have an atmosphere optimized for travelers. If I go to Sapa, I will go to this place again without thinking twice as it is 50,000 times better value for money.

The general manager and his staff provided excellent information about sightseeing and food in Sapa. They also helped me get a rental motorbike delivered to the hotel on a holiday weekend when my rental reservation was canceled by a local motorbike shop.

Hotel's location is ok, near the church - center of Sapa town. But the street is too noisy and there are cars go by all the time. Staffs were friendly and helpful, especially the bellboy (or security, idk), helped us a lot. Receptionist was also helpful, except the guy on night shift. He was kinda rude to us. We arrived at 6 AM, which I certainly understand that we can't check in right away. But as he said ”We have room available, but please come back at 2PM to check in”. His face was so serious so we didn't ask anything more. However, the staffs at the next shift was very friendly and lovely, so we had a nice stay. Room was ok and clean, with a nice mountain view. Breakfast was also good. Although we didn't have a good impression at first, Azure hotel is a good choice for you in Sapa :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Eco Palms House. The food is delicious, the cocktails too, the staff are attentive and helpful. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well cared for. We stayed in a bungalow with views to the rice fields. The bungalow inside was very well decorated and well maintained. This can be the perfect accommodation for a honeymoon. Unfortunately both my husband and me noticed a bit of a pain in the back due to the mattress resting on wooden logs on the floor. I have however decided to give it five stars because the accommodation is certainly outstanding and perhaps this is just that we are used to our foam mattress at home. I would also recommend reviewing the price of the massages as it’s considerably more expensive that anywhere else we’ve stayed in Vietnam. Great location to do activities and hotel has their own transport to take you to Sapa town centre. We would definitely go back. Thank you very much for everything

Hotels are a tough business, so it's sad I'm writing a 2-star review. Let's first consider the business. Most businesses do one thing, or two at most, and that's their focus. Hotels have to run many facets well: cleaning, laundry, infrastructure maintenance, repairs to all the rooms and bathrooms and TV's and air-conditioning, renovations, running a kitchen making food 16 hours a day. Then there's managing personnel, scheduling and coordinating tradesmen, wholesale food supplies. And then, marketing and advertising, bookings, and all the admin of all those facets. Like I said, a hard industry to work in, let alone turn a profit. Le Bordeaux is struggling. My room had bugs, mould, unswept floors, broken lights, frayed and threadbare towels, dirt and dust. AirCon didn't cool the room. WiFi was poor. The hotel is at a busy intersection, and although they're not responsible for the horns honking from 6am to 11pm, the windows are not sound insulated. The restaurant is reasonably priced and offers a wide ranging menu of decent quality food, but can be slow. For $60 AUD a night, I've had much better. I hope they turn things around, and they could if they improved housekeeping, audited their WiFi, TVs and AirCon machines to make them work, and sped up the kitchen.

It felt like it was about 37 degrees and it was getting colder and colder. I can't get enough hot water. On the contrary, it got cold.・During the massage while you are lying on your back, a warm pad is placed on your shoulders and lower back, but it is too hot. Even though I was given a towel, it was still hot and I was left with low-temperature burn marks for a while.・I'm not good at massage. It's too complicated. A woman with long hair. Just having my hair messed up on my head makes me feel very uncomfortable. Just touch the legs and body repeatedly in the same motion. It moves quickly and is weak. She's probably an amateur who doesn't know anything about massage. Moreover, during the massage, the woman's hair touched my skin, which made me feel uncomfortable.・Finally, your body will be wiped with a hot towel, but it will cool down quickly and you will be scrubbed with the cold towel, making it uncomfortable.
